Should I get a trigicon accupoint or an acog to put on my AR10? I want to be able to shoot out to 200 yards

pleb
>200 yards
I know you need at least a 20x power optic for anything past 50 yards. Not to mention anything below 300 win mag is not sufficient beyond 100 yards.
So best bet is to grab a telescope and mount it on the AR10.
No, get a dakimakura

That reminds me, can someone ID these iron sights? I shot them on a friends rifle and really liked them
>>33779059
How about at 100 yards? I don't know anything about magnification so would an acog shoot more accurate or an accupoint

we're talking about optics, right? Or are you confusing that with the gun and shooter?
>>33779048
To no bully answer your question, go with the accupoint. If you don't plan on shooting past 200 yards, get the 1-4. If you ever see yourself shooting farther (and you should, you have an AR-10), then go with the 1-6. Also, don't get the faggy cheveron. It's outdated, like the ACOG.

Accupower 1-8 is pretty slick and only a little more than an accupoint and cheaper than some of the 308 reticle acogs out there
>>33779084
yeah, you just suck at shooting. Your inquiry on those sights just solidifies it.
>owns a fucking ar10
>can't shoot out to 600 with irons

Also only elec/etched.
Same boat as faggot, do I get the 1-6 accupoint, the 3.5or4x acog, or do I get the vcog? Any opinions from owners or users would be great.

scopes don't make you more accurate, idiot
>>33782986
pretty sure video games have said better scopes makes the gun shoot more accurate.

I never said that nigger
Obviously a maginified optic is more accurate than a simple red dot
Is this a serious question?
>>33783539
No, it's more *precise* than a red dot, but it's not necessarily any more accurate. You should research the difference between accuracy and precision.
That being said, higher magnification can help some shooters aim more consistently and that can improve accuracy, but it's certainly not a guaranteed thing.
>>33783539
obviously you're a terrible shot... nigger.
scopes have nothing to do with the inherent accuracy of the weapon
if a RDS and a 4x optic are both zeroed, then they are both equally accurate
>>33779084
troys. the diamond is a gimmick and slightly more annoying to use than the standard.
>>33779048
bahh get a vortex crossfire 6-18 power and be done with it.
Is there a better option for a 1-X variable scope than the vcog?
I'm not talking cheaper, I'm talking the strongest, clearest, weather proof, etc scope out there
I dont want those fudd scopes that snap a turret cap off if the humidity is too high
