Nope. For a starter its all in MTP, all (supposedly) IR disruptive, the webbing is different from 58 pattern (no kidney pouches), gas mask isnt on your webbing any more but in a leg bag, gas mask is a better model (GSR), boots are definitely different...thats all I can think of at the moment

A new MBT sometime in the near future (doing a complete upgrade on the current Chally 2s would be good enough). New heavy arty, more Spike NLOS units. Greater firepower at lower levels in the army (autocannons and ATGMs on anything larger than an MRAP would be a good start). A 30% increase in the number of deployable troops would be good too.

More destroyers and frigates for the RN, actual cats and traps on the carriers along with Hawkeyes, Greyhounds and some EW aircraft and tankers. More submarines would be nice too. Develop a modern antiship missile for carrier strike and mounting on escorts. Most importantly, more personnel and helicopters.

More F-35s, ideally of the A variant, for the RAF.

Improve operational readiness and basing across the board.

That's what strikes me as the most pressing matters. There is a great deal more than can be done though.

I originally got deferred at assessment because my eyes were 3 points off on the hasty test they give you, but my eye doctors report apparently cleared me. I asked the unit and they said you can get it but its a 12 month deferral with a few checkups with army doctors to make sure your eyes are good, worth a look

L85s will need replacement. England has no small arms industry anymore. might as well go with a proven rifle that is easy to make or buy.

nuclear weapons have a shelf life. old weapons not only lose potency and reliability. the old electronics make them less precise.

nuclear submarines are the best value in national defense, after nuclear weapons. more of them mean you can have a less taxing operation tempo, or more out at sea.

bomb/missile truck both conventional and nuclear. right now the bongs lack a heavy long range bomber.

cheap plane to buy and operate for low intensity conflicts. so you don't fly the wings off the expensive stuff.
