How many crates full of cheap AR kits are rotting in warehouses because of this bitch?

Better yet, what are the fucks on /k/ who bought 500 pmags doing?
>>
>>33766175
>rotting in warehouses
you mean being snapped up on deal prices. I'm grateful trump won, but I'm glad she was his opponent. Gun prices are crazy low.
>>
>>33766175

Sam at SGammo is taking a huge pinch.

Ammo fucking tanked after the election, and nobody is buying since trump wont autistically blame guns for shit.

So sam is having a hell of a time moving product, hence the borderline spam emaisl about ammo.
>>
>>33766268
Would now be a good time to drop $2-3k on ammo?
>>
>>33766175
>what are the fucks on /k/ who bought 500 pmags doing
literally swimming in them
>>
>>33766321
>this is what winning feels like
good luck trying to ban them now!
>>
>>33766268

tell him to make ads for California, we won't be able to buy online next year so there is still a very healthy panic here.

I'd be dumping a few k on ammo if i wasn't about to buy someone's collection.
>>
>>33766321
>>what are the fucks on /k/ who bought 500 pmags doing
>literally swimming in them

It is glorious.

>Would you like to take a dip in my freedom pool?

Gotta be honest. I slept on the pile once like a dragon guarding his horde.
>>
the only buying i did in prep for a hillary win. I bought 4 20 rnd mags for an AR10. I don't even have an AR10. I was going to buy a receiver set the minute aero had them available and hillary won.
>>
>>33766321
i dont have enough to swim in, just to bathe in them. i literally have enough ar mags to fill a bathtub
>>
>>33766297
Prices haven't dropped, yet.
>>
I'm 43 and never owned a firearm in my life until last fall. Bought a Maverick 88 and a 10/22 in the runup to the election. Both are fine first guns and I got a good deal on them, so no regrets. Since then I've bought five more. No regrets on those, either.
>>
>>33766519
why didn't you own a gun until that late in life?
>>
>>33766254
>prices are crazy low

Yeeeeeeyaaahhhhhhh, we're gonna need you to source this. Yeeeeyahhhhhh.
>>
>>33766538
S&W Shields can be had for $250, not including tax, but after the rebate.
>>
>>33766519
I got fucked over when I bought my first AR (second gun) in October, one month before the election juuuust in case, and payed hundreds more than I would've if I bought it now. Since then though I've got everything at standard market prices. Bought an Enfield III* Ishapore on Saturday. $450 tag price and I bought it from a gunsmith, so it looks and feels factory new. Butter smooth bolt, perfectly glossed wood, dark and deep rifling... oh baby
>>
>>33766175

I would never wish harm upon our politicians.
>>
>>33766554
Where? I'll be in the market for a pistol soon
>>
>>33766538
PSA has regularly had a keymod upper with BCG, CH and MBUS for $350 shipped.

Just check out PSA daily deals.
They've had that box of 42 AK mags for $230 shipped for a while. Kind of want it just because.
>>
>>33766529
Just be glad we've got another one on our team.
>>
>>33766566
PSA
>>
>>33766268
i wonder if they could have bought insurance hedges on the election outcome.
>>
>>33766175
Not many, this is why we were seeing sub $400 ARs toward the end of Jan. They had to clear their overstocked warehouses.
>>
>>33766529
Grew up in firearm-hating NJ with firearm-hating liberal parents, lived in noguns Japan for a while, came home and got a job where I traveled constantly so having one wouldn't be worth it for the few days a month I was actually home, got laid off and was epically broke for a few years while I went back to grad school (during which I unknowingly missed the $60 Mosin bubble), finally got a job that paid more than "instant ramen and Costco bulk groceries" pay. Finally had 1) available cash 2) a libertarian roommate who doesn't hate guns and 3) time to enjoy shooting, all of which coincided with the election coming up, so I decided the time was right.
>>
>>33766538

All my LGS guns have dropped in price.
>>
>>33766585
>we were seeing sub $400 ARs toward the end of Jan.
I sure didn't see that.
>>
>>33766606
You can still get them for close to that price. No it's not some LaRue or Noveske, but it is still sub-$500 AR that'll kill all the paper you want.

https://www.classicfirearms.com/ar-15-for-sale-m4-flat-top-bear-creek-ar15
>>
>>33766648
I've seen plenty sub-$500 ARs. Sub-$400, however, is a whole different thing.
>>
>>33766686
There have been complete kits minus lower for $350 shipped on PSA.
I have a bunch of lowers I paid about $50 for. I could have an AR for $400.
>>
>>33766588
>43
>roommate
>>
>>33766686
Sub $400 isn't crazy when they have 20000 of these in a warehouse not being sold. $399 is still sub$400.
>>
>>33766707
>implying not mom
>>
>>33766707
That's life here in the Bay Area. I know Google employees making $150,000 a year who have roommates.
>>
>>33766554
>gun priceSSSSSSS are crazy cheap
>implying sundry, myriad, googols, oodles and oodles, so forths
>offers into evidence a pistol w/ rebate not much cheaper than same pistol cpl yrs ago
Sooooooo, hundred/hundred and a half on a single sample size group is "crazy low" and an influencing pressure on the entire market? Yeeeyahhhhh, how bout SOME MOAR evidence there, pardner... yaknow to up the sample size. Do wonders in corroborating your thinking.
OP already mentioned the crates of AR kits sitting at four hundy (w/i a Benjamin of cpl yrs ago once uhhhhgain,) so no need remind us again.
>>33766597
>All my LGS guns
Sounds like someone may be shuttering their biz purdy soom. C'mon buddy, help a ninja out and bring commerce to your area. Like WAT?
>>
>>33766175
Just woke up. What's going on? Am I in another timeline where Hillary won?
>>
>>33766805
Yes. Welcome to hell, and remember to turn in your guns.
>>
>>33766805
No, nothing to see here, gtfo. That is, unless, you wanna witness butthurdz whining bout how capitalism gave em a slightly stingy ruffin up in their virgin holes. If so, then grab the popcorn n git in here.

You can blame anyone you like but thinking that she actually b& anything domestically is moronic.

Gun control is a democrat policy, she's no more responsible than any other democrat.

As SecState, she had more influence on ARs in Tunisia than on Ars in USA.

I don't think you understand this thread. We're discussing what happened to all the stuff scalpers bought, hoping to sell to panic-buying idiots after Hillary was elected. Since she wasn't elected, they're stuck sitting on mountains of ammo, mags, and lowers that they can't possibly sell for a profit.
>>
>>33766868
SRSLY, dood?!?! Stop with the AR this and AR that.
>lives under rock without adequate ventilation
>wonders where fog is emanating
Fuckeeng ar ANYTHING has been downward spiraling for how long now? I got boxes of ar shit sitting in two shipping containers just waiting for that day. Fuxsake, is that all you got? Frankly, thought I was gonna git some decent leads on something off the beaten way
>>
>>33766886
PSA does the mags on sale every other weekend, they have completed uppers for $200-230 regularly, 80 for the fcg, and drill your own lower.

Here's a pre-assembled one for380.

>>33766940
Price of 22lr is 5 cpr, 556 is below 20 cpr for steel case, anything domestic has seen small drops in price across the board, the only shit going up in price are things that we can't import because either bad legislation or no more supply.
>>
>>33766566
Brownells has them at 239

>>33766803
ARs are cheaper than they've ever been across the board, all the parts are dirt cheap
mags and ammo are cheaper than I've seen them in 8 years
>>
>>33766940
do you have fucking autism?
>>

I dunno, is that when I get all d-duh d-d-d-d duhhhh kinda speechless, cannot into eye contact so strictly doggie/froggie/from behind stuff and wrekt my gf's every inputs with amazing retard strength and stamina? If so, just might have more than my fair share.
>>
>>33766353
Did you hear, calibrofag?
NRA finally began its legal challenge campaign in CA.
First few targetting "assualt weapons ban" and magazine capacity. But its gonna be slow since the courts on this side is vehemently anti-trump.
>>
>>33766538
Dude youre fucking poor. Get a fucking job, nig.
>>
>>33766519
>buy a couple guns
>"cool"
>a year later, you're 23 guns deep

I began with a mossberg 500.
A year and a half later, I have 9 guns and HUNGERING for a HK pistol and a 1903a3
>>
>>33766554
Heads up on if you're thinking about the mag extension "mag guts" brand onthe shield, I am getting some feed problems with tilt/stuck cartridges in +2 for the 8rd S&W mags. Not so much for the 7rd mags though.
>>
>>33766775
They're dumb fucks.
I am in the resturant industry and make a fraction of google fucks and I got a good $600-700 with room mates in city. Those complaining techies probably really wanted to live in $$$ neighborhoods.
>>
>>33767538
>I am in the resturant industry and make a fraction of google fucks and I got a good $600-700 with room mates in city.
You mean in San Francisco? The only way you're living there for $700 a month is on a dirty mattress on the needle-strewn floor of the basement of a crackhouse in the Tenderloin.
>>
>>33766775
>That's life here in the Bay Area. I know Google employees making $150,000 a year who have roommates.

I make about that and dont live in CA, and I still have a roommate. It makes sense to live below your means, especially if youre shooting for early retirement.

>>

First, I am a gunfag and an investment professional, just to lay some groundwork. Being both of those things, I am generally hostile toward "gun investing" because it's so nutty. Values swing based on autistic whims of politicians and school shooters. The current situtation I think reflects that.

That all being said, if one must "gunvest" I think the time is probably now for ARs, ultra cheap mags, and other guns too. Budget pistols seem retardedly cheap. Ammo, as mentioned, is not there yet. Prices have dipped just slightly but nothing substantial... yet.

I think the idea that you can buy a gun and flip it for a big profit is dead for now. I have a feeling though that some 400 dollar ARs will more than pay for the closet space they occupy I'm the longer term (10 years +)

Again, collectables collecting is shitty and I don't reccoemnd it, but for those so inclined it might be buying time.

25 and in the same boat. This is my collection since October. Bought the Hi Power first, then the Glock, then the AR two months after trump won and the .22 because fuck why don't I have a .22 yet.

Going to buy way more when I can afford to. Want a shotgun obviously, a 1911 and probably at least one more AR. I might build a 9mm AR pistol for home defense.
