You're thinking of a convertible sling. Mine has an extra QD cup near the back to hook the front QD swivel to convert to single point

The only good thing about Larry Vickers is that Blue Force Gear can make a hell of a sling, and it has his name on it.

I hate Larry Vickers with a passion, but I'll be damned if I don't own and enjoy using three Vickers slings, one of which being the limited grey "East German" AK sling. BFG makes some damn fine nylon shit.

There are a lot of fakes/cheap airsoft clone parts out there that still work on real guns to some degree. They dont last for shit due to cheap construction and materials. Buy it legit directly from the company or a place specializing in real gun stuff so you dont get gipped. A word of advice: Apply this logic whenever you consider buying ANYTHING from a non specialized retailer. You save time, money, and overall satisfaction in the long run.

Magpul MS3. I've got one on my rifle. It's pretty good although I felt the single point part was useless. So I threw the clip that allows for a single point hookup into my tool box.

I own two of them. They tie on with paracord and they let you carry your raifu right side up and even has a dinky pouch for some gun oil and they only cost $15. That's all that counts.

Simple 2 point sling with adjustment and just go with that.

The 1 point dangles and limits you to carrying your gun in front, the 3 point is needlessly complex.

Single points are for emergency situations where you need to just drop your primary and not have it hit the deck. They're not meant to actually pack the rifle. Conversely, 2 points are great for carrying your rifle but limit your ability to ditch it should you need to.

If you're shooting 3 gun or you think you might need to instantly drop your rifle and pull a sidearm, get a single point.

If you're hiking the woods with your chamber empty, get a 2 point.
