Personally I love it. It's basically a multiplayer only game though. They balanced the game around multiplayer and it makes singleplayer not nearly as enjoyable. It does have plenty of "dynamic" singleplauer campaigns though.

At first I played it and didn't care about how I did because I loved the subject matter and setting and seeing all the units and building decks. Now I'm actually decent at the game and enjoy the competetiveness.

There are some lobbies that are pub stomps, but you can see people's stats and there are still plenty of noobs/low win rate players to play with till you get better.

I honestly can't recommend it if you aren't interested in multiplayer. If you really only want singleplauer I'd look into Air Land Battle or maybe even European Escalation. (Previous War game titles with ALB being the moreodern of the two)
