Question for New York and general tri state area anons...
Anthony Cumia, former co-host of the Opie & Anthony show, is a gun nut in New York, he lives in long island. He has many videos and pictures of him showing off his arsenal, including a PS90, an FS2000, an M107, glocks, an uzi(w/16 inch barrel) and so on. He also has a carry permit, and carries a USP40C. Is it really true that if you are rich, famous, or powerful you can literally get around gun laws in New York? He also brags about having many friends in the NYPD, hes donated and attended many police charity events, and is a member of the Fraternal Brotherhood of Police.
I love Ant, hes a hilarious and entertaining dude, but is he somehow above the law?

All of his guns were taken away after he bit his crazy girlfriend. True story.

I know of a very rich guy in NYC who has at least 10+ long guns and pistols at his home and office.
The rules don't apply to 'them'.
It's possible for an average man who has no criminal record. Being wealthy and famous helps, of course.

it is much easier outside the five boroughs.

He's rich so laws don't apply to him.
