The CZ-75?

should have gone with the Tec-9 or Five-Seven instead.

You could've got the SP01 instead.
But you didn't do too bad.

Nice. My friend was selling a few around $900 but they were mixed parts. Something tells me this isn't your 1st German firearm or milsurp purchase.

yea though, even the 90's repop lugers now are 1500.
not sure if this qualifies as new purchase but i picked it up 3-4 months ago. WW2 reciever thing was refurbished in 1954 for the korean war

That place is 20 min from me. They talked me out of a stainless colt series 70 they had in store. Told me they would raise the price by 10% if I used layaway. Now theyre discontinued.

Ill never forgive grabagun or myself.

You got it, anon.

Well so far so good, here's the differences from what I can tell
>1. Way better trigger, significantly better than previous models. Lots of give initially though, but I don't mind.
>2. Mag release is well placed, doesn't get hit accidentally (even if I try) and pushes mags out with good force
>3. Grip is a liiiiiitle but wider, and texturing is better, both help a lot with recoil, to the point where I'm not planning on getting a hogue grip for it (I immediately got one for the lcp custom I used to have and while I didn't get one for it the bodyguard I used to have sure as hell needed one)

Negatives:
>1. Sights are just black notches, good size and certainly useable but not as good as the white dot front sight the lcp custom comes with
>2. Only comes with 1 mag, c'mon ruger errybody gives 2 mags nowadays

Shot well out of the box, easy to hit bullseye at 5 yds, haven't had a chance to shoot at 7 or 15 yet

I have a thing for pocket pistols, and this is a good one. Glock 42 and Sig P938/238 (I have a p938) are certainly other good options, but the lcp2 is significantly smaller, which is a good or bad thing depending on what you want.

Bonus: Comes with a pocket holster which is a nice touch (though I prefer the sticky holster I have, not by much though), also you get normal mag base plates if you don't want the extended ones (but you want the extended ones, either way no pinky on the grip though)

Tl;dr good pocket pistol, especially for the money, definite improvement over previous models but could use a colored front sight post

Neat. The only milsurp I have is a lightly modded sniper Mosin Nagant and an SKS. I do appreciate fine milsurp.

Ouch!
I once missed buying a used Woo and CAI Galil for $800. Deals come and go, just like concerts and girls. Keep your head up, there will be another!
I buy from GrabAGun because they ship to my state quick.

Never seen one of those in person, but always figured the finish looks quite a bit different than that. Can you post a picture with good lighting?

Nice purchase though man

Most obvious one. What was your price range? The entire point of a tactical pistol is to put expensive shit on it so I hope it was damn high, otherwise you're better off just buying a normal handgun and some Trijicon sights
>>
>>33743730
I ain't trippin. Nice gun and review, I have a P938 myself but how do you like yours? I'm the OP.
>>
>>33743747
I will once I get it. I ordered it a few hours ago. It was the last one in stock anywhere, like the rest of the metal framed CZ's.

My p938? Eh I've had issues with the slide catch getting loose and jamming. I sent it in, but it happened again after they "fixed" it. I heard it's an issue with some SAS models.

Fantastic gun to shoot, though imo

I kind of want a mosin. They seem like real storied guns with a hell of a following. Only issue is the price, most are going for 400+ in my area which seems outrageous. Pic related is a 1950 russian SKS i bought a year ago
>>
>>33744149
>Mosin for 400 dollars
That's absolutely fucking criminal.

They shouldn't be more than 200 bucks tops.
>>
>>33744171
that's been my issue, i'll probably order one online. But my next target is a type 99 with a mum.

My most recent Acquisition is one of those type 91 uppers that Wolf has been importing as the Wolf A1. I plan on getting a browning Hi Power as my next purchase though.

Unless those are Finns or Snipers that price is absurd. I paid 475 for my Sniper back in 2011.

What kind of bizzaro world are you living on anon, any CZ pistol of the 75 series holds it's own against a Sig, and thats before looking at the price difference.
>>
Just took possession of my new Beretta ARX 100 yesterday. Impulse bought it for $850 from Botach. Literally had zero interest in it beforehand, figured that for that price, if I don't like it I could always flip it on Armslist.

Haven't shot yet, but just finger fucking it, seems really nice. Comes with a decent case, a sling and two steel mags. Barrel change system is super nifty, as are all the ambi features. That said, there's no way this rifle should be sold for over $1000
>>
>>33744645
I've heard the trigger on it is dogshit. Do newer ARXs have a decent bang switch it is it Uzi Pro tier?
>>
>>33743167
Fine, the new Omega triggers are nice.
>>33744536
Modern Sig's are not that great
Ergos suck
$1,100+ price tag
Average trigger.
It's not a bad gun, but they haven't improved on anything.

>>33744565
>A whole shit load since you can't do anything with the trigger now
You can get trigger work done.
But the Omega is already good
It's 80% of a good trigger job in my opinion.

Picked up a sccy cpx-2 for $250 today. Good little gun, well built surprisingly and factory 3 dot sights and two 10 round mags on top of that is nice. Also, I finally have a small handgun now.
>>
>>33745850
I had heard that too and was prepared for the worst, but honestly it's really not bad. It feels like a slightly heavier mil spec AR trigger. But I've also heard that the newer manufacture guns have improved triggers. If I end up liking the gun enough, I'll buy a trigger from shooting sight for around $200. Other than that, the sights will probably get changed out to something designed for a higher rail, like Troy Micros. The stock sights are comically tall and not very good. Before I make any changes, I'm gonna mount a 1-8 optic and see what kind of accuracy I'm getting. If it shoots like an X95 or something, I'll sell it.

Have fun constantly mailing it to FN or just being SOL when they refuse to warranty the pistol for not being inspected every 2k rounds .

Here's my CZ, I don't plan on putting a threaded barrel or getting a suppressor for it yet as I want to see how the laws pan out, and I'd possibly just buy a whole different pistol pistol as a suppressor host, maybe a lone wolf glock build, idk. So far it's served me well.
