Can someone visiting the US legally use/own a firearm?
I'm planning on doing a camping trip in the US and don't want to get attacked by a moose/bear/coyote/skinwalker/crackhead/etc and not be able to defend myself.
>>33730141
no...
>>33730156
wtf i hate america now
>>33730156
Yes he can you fucking idiot.
Unless you're in some communist state that actually requires a permit for a gun, you can own and carry a firearm in the US if you aren't a citizen. Our bill of rights applies to filthy foreigners too. Enjoy your stay and fuck off as soon as possible, thanks
>>33730177
>bill of rights applies to filthy foreigners too
Yeah. No.
But he is free to buy face to face.
>>33730290
I'm planning on going to Colorado and from what I can see the gun laws seem pretty good, if that changes anything.
>>33730321
/k/olorado checking in
>>33730141
Google.
But probably.
Bear mace would definitely be a better choice for your retarded nogun self. if you wanna shoot just go to a range that rents.
use? yeah. purchase from an FFL? no. firearms are not sold to foreign nationals by FFLs.
but, if you did a face to face transaction, somebody would probably sell to you. money talks.
you might have to puppydog it up and give a bit of a sob story, but what the hell, right?
just don't get caught with an illegally purchased firearm.
You have to be a permanent resident to buy a gun. You can own a gun without being a permanent resident if you brought it into the country with you, but then you would need to fill out all the relevant ATF paperwork and >implying you own a gun in whatever shithole you're coming from
>>33730333
>WITNESSED
>>33730346
I saw a webm of a guy on a snowmobile shooting a moose with a glock, so unsure of how well mace would work on a huge ass moose running at me.
Also current military if that would swing things in my favor when it comes to purchasing.
>>33730350
So I can use one if I'm with a US citizen, but I couldn't be motorbiking around with one by myself?
>>33730321
By far Not the worst but not exactly the greatest either.
>>33730376
We don't even need any paperwork for a suppressor in my shithole, how about you?
>>33730442
Great, then get that importation approved and you're all set.
>>33730383
>So I can use one if I'm with a US citizen, but I couldn't be motorbiking around with one by myself?
more or less, yeah
>>33730442
Jesus thats an ugly stock
>>33730646
Fuck what even is that?
>>33730646
>>33730655
pls no bully.
Semi-autos are required to have a thumb-hole stock if they have a pistol grip, unless you have an E-Cat licence which you have to jump through a lot of hoops to get.
Magazines and suppressors are available to purchase regardless of licence though.

It's like there's an "arbitrariness in regulation" award and the gungrabbers are at each other's throats to win it.
>>33730442
Your stock hurts my mind hole.
>>33730714
They somehow think that the small tube connecting the bottom of the grip to the stock means you can't fire it accurately from the hip. No shit, that's what the intention was.
Even if that were the case, you could cut it in 10 minutes with a hack saw.
Even better, you can go buy a free standing grip and stock without a licence, but it only become illegal once you put it on the rifle.
shit don't make no god damn sense.
>All of the idiots on /k/ that don't even bother to check the ATF's own site.
You can buy one from an FFL if you get a hunting license, OP.

permanent residents or immigrant visas can buy from FFL
>>33730141
You can go to a range and legally rent one of their guns to use there on the premises. Because of Nevada's permissive gun laws and the city's reputation as a vacation paradise, Las Vegas is famous for having a bunch of ranges that will let you come in and fire a full auto machine gun.
But again, you can't leave the premises with them.
>>33730781
What is the cost of hunting licence in general ?
>>33730781
even if he obtains one its not like he can carry it around legally

>>33730177
you have to at least be a resident alien.
>>33731975
you can legally open carry in Colorado.
you can legally firearm hunt with pistols.
anon just needs a hunting license, and tell whichever lie he needs to about what he intends to "hunt."
>>33731171
so just go take your camping trip at the range in Vegas, simple.
>>33730674
Somebody should have told you that a vertical foregrip (forward of the action) is illegal.
You saved that image from your facebook like an idiot. So I emailed your full name and that image to the local arms officer.
Enjoy getting fucked by the long dick of the law.
>pic related
>>33730290
>Yeah. No.
Yes it does.
>>33732280
>>33730141
Define legally tho. If you don't get caught by authorities then it is in some sense "legal". Just don't put a facebook post of you holding one and saying your in the states.

Honestly not much need for guns to camp here. Unless you just wanna shoot, which I'd understand.
