So I'm looking into getting my first semi auto, and I really like the Jericho 941. I've heard good things, but am curious about your opinions.
Also steel vs polymer? Polymer would save me about $100, and that would allow me to buy another spare mag or two. I'm still relatively new to guns despite doing some shooting occasionally and owning a revolver. Should I be worried about long term durability with polymer, or is it safe to save the $100 and put it towards another mag or two?
Jew gun. Get a CZ.

Advantages of the CZ over the Jericho?
Also still curious about steel vs polymer, regardless, for future gun buying in general
Steel frame for sure. It's supposed to be a 75 knockoff, so might as well keep it as close to the real thing as possible. It weights a lot though, so I wouldn't consider it for carry.
Also, I wouldn't worry about polymer durability.

I have a jericho 941, full steel 9mm. It's my favorite handgun. Looks great, shoots well, feels amazing, trigger us smooth.
good starter to learn on try a revolver then work in to more complicated guns just know never buy a hi-point they are shit or you could get a basic ak47 patterned rifle

Good point, anon, it would be nice to do that.
I've seen people worry about polymer but I take it that's just a meme?
I know Glocks seem to hold up well and they're all (or mostly?) polymer, right?

That sounds great, and yeah they are aesthetically pleasing as hell. >>33714901
I love my revolver. It's a Smith and Wesson 638, and I'm pretty accurate with it. It's fun to shoot, but I'd love to have a semi auto 9mm too. I feel comfortable with that and learning with it

The difference is going to be in weight. Polymer isn't going to explode in your hands, the parts that need to handle more stress and pressure are going to be metal, the rest will be polymer.
The full steel frames will be heavier but also have lower recoil due to the weight. Either one will work fine, just depends what you'd prefer.

Thanks anon
Less recoil might be worth it, but at the same time the .38 I've been learning with has quite a bit if kick for what it is and I've gotten pretty good with it.
Decisions decisions...

Steel feels better, and it's too big/heavy of a gun for many to consider CC'ing anyway.

Brand name, and not being Israeli if you give a shit about that sort of stuff.
They're basically the same gun, though I think the Jericho has some minor advantages like aesthetics and trigger, which was noticeably better than the CZ75's out of the box.
I love the Jericho, and I'd take it over a CZ75 any day.
t. owner of both

Thanks, I think I'll go with the Jericho
It looks wonderful, and a better trigger is always a good thing

If you're able, you should go feel up both of them at a shop. The ergos are very similar, but still different enough that you might prefer one over the other.
You can't go wrong with either gun so if it's your first semi-auto, you should pick whichever feels better in your hand.
Either way, have fun with your new handgat.
