So /k/ for my first ccw I've decided on a getting a glock. The only issue is im not sure if I should go with the g19 or glock 26 with some sort of magazine extension.

The g26 was what I used for my class and it was uncomfortable as fuck and made my hand cramp because everything from ring finger down didn't have anything to hold on to. On the other hand, something that small would be hella easy to conceal.

Has anyone shot a regular g19 and a g23 with a mag extension? How does the feel of them compare? I wish I could try a g23 with a mag extension in a gun store, but I don't think they'd let me modify theirs like that.

What you're describing is just a training issue unless your grip strength is below average. While it is more comfortable when your pinky has something to rest on, you shouldn't need it to keep a good hold on the gun.

If you're going to mag extension anyway, just go with a 19

For me, a +0 Pierce baseplate on a G26 helps a ton with establishing grip on the draw (AIWB) and still conceals better than a G19.

Big 26 fan here.

Any preferences on a aiwb holster? I was like at stealth gear's holster but $104 seems a bit pricey for a holster....

Why not a CZ 2075 RAMI 9mm? The patrician carry choice.

As it happens, I've recently come to the same conclusion, and I'm looking to buy one now. I was dithering on it, but shit I was a few minutes away from being caught up in that robbery in downtown Seattle today.

Also why are you posting these webms around /k/?

Judging by the sausage fingers you just described, you're big enough to conceal a G19
>>
>>33709396
Can always make G26 bigger, never G19 smaller. if it'll be your only CCW id go with the G26. This is coming from somebody who's first handgun was a M&P 9c, then got all kinds of mid and full sized guns after because "muh shootability". G19 is just a little big for carry in some clothes, particularly for the warmer months

You can get the Pearce mag extension for +2 rounds on the G26 & it gives you a full grip. You just have to get used to taking your pinky off the mag when reloading.

You actually can make a g19 smaller. A lot of people will take a g19 and do a grip length reduction, so it can accept 26 mags.

cz is slavshit garbage, the rami is fat, wide difficult to shoot bitch,.
>>
I carry a G26 in an IWB holster. She bites some from the rough grip but it isn't too bad. I personally prefer compact pistols so I'd say go with the 26. I use it as my go to everything pistol.

This entire thread is dog shit. OP, the biggest thing people dislike about CC'ing a 19 is the grip length, hence why people chop 19 grips to 26 and run an ext. They are both great guns, an ext 26 fires the exact same way as a 19 does in hand. The carry depends on your carry position and your body type/preference.
