PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS has the kar98k although for some reason it is chambered in 7.62x39mm. I think just to make ammo easier to manage.

The ideal of being in historical times and in the middle of it you just go "fuck this" and pull out kickass guns and just blaze down enemies for fun because it's a video game is pretty fun no matter how unrealistic it was.
