what's wrong with this stance? I don't see why it can't be considered a legitimate aim stance. The way he holds the revolver looks pretty comfortable, so anybody should be able to grip the pistol in the way that feels best to them without being shamed, as long as they don't damage the stock.

absolutely, and it looks so cool!
SEMPHER FI!
>how do sights work
China had a lot of Mauser autopistols because arms embargoes mostly went for rifles, and they'd hold the gun sideways to let the recoil sweep rooms

Then you're basically retarded. The sights are on the top of the gun. You will not hit anything holding a pistol sideways.

If you hold the gun sideways, then you can look down the sights from the side moron. I bet I'd be better at sideways than you are topways.

I shot USPSA for a while, so hear me out..
When we'd shoot a weak-hand stage, we'd cant (lean) the gun in towards our centerline, as it helped you manage the recoil better.
90 degrees is just retarded. Here's where it comes from: cops using the riot shield.
If our eyes and arms were vertically aligned that grip would be fine.
