If the military is still very indoctrinated or loyal then it could be like Vietnam; NK has more miles of tunnels under its surface than any other nations; they'd lose the main battle pretty quickly, but you might be dealing with NK soldiers popping out of caves and holes in the ground for months or years.

The supplies and fuel from China will be cut off. Their ammo depleted very easily. Norks have to wage a blitzkreig and secure resources very, very quickly or they just wont have the supplies to fight back.

LOL, no. It has about 13K artillery pieces, and if the dud rate at Yeonpyeong tells us anything it's that Nork arty has a very, very high dud rate. And to think that every piece is "ready to go" is absurd, not even the US Army can maintain such a readiness rate.

It's happening right now and it weakens China, hence why they are pissed. If N. Korea does something stupid US has legtimate reason to push it's troops to China mainland border. US has already deployed THAAD which can cover air assets over Beijing. US can keep deployed missile systems and forces towards China under the guise of N. Korea threat. Except when you normalize the use of nukes back then you're signaling to other countries that it's perfectly fine to use nukes in a conventional manner.
