They are literally the worst drivers ever. My wife is from southern oklahoma, two years ago we visted for christmas and the day we left an ice storm hit. I'm no stranger to shitty roads, here I am trucking along I35 going 45mph (which was fast, the roads were THAT shitty). Every couple minutes some micro-peen in an f350 would fly up on my ass (in the right lane mind you), speed past me, then 15 miles or so later I'd pass them with their shit in the ditch

If the Bronco has TTB.. swap that shit out for a true solid axle if your not desert racing.

Never store gas inside the vehicle. Build a rack off the bumper.

Swap the manual for an auto. If your going to actually need it off road, you'll more than likely burn the clutch up.

Carb is good but make sure you study up and learn how to tune it for elevation changes. Also if you're climbing tall hills or flexing your truck hard carbs and choke out due to not being level.

I have a dirt bike. I lived in Jew York for a few yrs, traffic is so bad that you move like 5 feet an hour. Now when ppl are trying to bug out, traffic would be even worst that that, specially when ppl start abandoning their cars. I'm able to get through tight little spots, also maneuver through spots a normal vehicle can't get through.

Sure I trade off on not having the ability to carry as much, I'm only traveling a C X amount of distance to spot, meet up there with family and friends.

I plan on upgrading to a 2.8 or 3.2L Paj in the future so that it'll actually have some guts to it, but finding one in the Australian market within my budget is pretty hard, people must fucking love them.

Maybe I'll driveline swap my current Paj, it's got a fairly decent body, aside from a few dings and scratches and a leaky sun roof. The older style body looks nicer than the new ones as well, at least to me.

Either way, I'll be putting some serious money into this project in the next few months.
