REEEEEEE WHY IS THIS GUN SO EXPENSIVE? I just want a bolt action in .223 with aperture sights. Does anyone make aperture sights to put on bolt action rifles without rails?

Would you recommend this as a first gun for a child? I could get him a light weight AR-15 but this looks cool.
>>
>>33661445
Not a terrible choice, this or a CZ 527 would be very nice little scout rifles.
>>
>>33661466
>intermediate caliber
>scout
a better term would be Brush Gun, or as the europeans call it, Light Rifle

Its a fucking rifle, period.

I have one (am aussie so its great for what i can get) I love mine but its not perfect
>Sights are good, but not amazing. Back sight is very small compared to say a Lee enfield i found and it causes issues getting a good sight picture, at least i had this issue. I stuck a cheap red dot on mine and its been a nail driver at 100-200m, and if/when it dies I can just fall back on my ironsights.
>Magazines are expensive asf here, may be a non issue in the states. They are also... Fragile? my brother somehow managed to 'disassemble 'one trying to load some rounds (bottom plate exploded out) But i have not had any issues.
>Odd feeding issues with some ammo, and i've yet to get reloads to work 100% in it, if i resize the brass a bunch it will work but i don't shoot it enough to really bother.
>Extraction is hit or miss at times, 90% of the time its no issues, but sometimes a round will get stuck in the extractor of the bolt and require some wiggling to get out.

I've heard some people saying its shit a grouping but i've never really had much issue hitting steel at 100m with it and im a pretty average shooter.

Those are pretty much all the shitty things i found with my rifle, but i still love it and everyone who's shot it says they want one and love it. If you got your heart set on one get it, other wise i'd probably just get something more conventional. If its too expensive could always go with a nice repeater in 30/30 or something highish calibre. IF you live somewhere without shit gunlaws probably just get a semi auto, if not at least get the 308 version.

By some miracle I got mine for $725 shipped NEW out of a shop in texas. Poke around on GB and you'll find a deal. That or haggle with your local shop to order one. My cost is $750 for them and I haggle a bit if I'm ordering something since its not product that sits on the shelf.

Have you not just tried searching? Tech sights, nigga.

You fix it you fucking faggot nigger I found it here and "can'tintophotoshop"
and it is true they are moving away from "salt rifles" to terms like "weapons of war".

Licensing, pricing and city policies on firearms are gun control.

The polymer mags are cheaper, lighter, and more reliable.
