But, out of the box, they are all mostly the same unless you buy dogshit or something midtech. Literally no factory hunting knife will come that sharp, and if you think they do, you need to reevaluate your definition of "sharp".

As someone visiting from /ck/ and as a long time knife collector, the factory edge on a blade means nothing. The most expensive premium tier hand made japanese kitchen knives come out of the box with barely any edge at all - because the customer is supposed and expected to put it on himself. Angle, degree of asymmetry, grit, finish - everybody prefers something different.
