Why isn't there a 1 caliber full auto machine gun mounted on top of tanks?
>>33644753
Isn't that just a 25mm autocannon?
Plenty ot IFVs have stuff like that.
>>33644753
I want a revolver in that so bad.

>what is the M242 Bushmaster
>>33644753
Why do you think there should be?
>>33644811
For killing.
>>33644753
>>33644825
>Not a 1 cal round
>>33644906
Close enough
>>33644825
For killing what exactly?

25mm already exists on top of regular IFV's. See pic related.

serious question, what would that feel like up my ass and how much lube would I need? i dont want to end up like remshit anon. I would use my GF's dildo but I don't want her to know that I'm gay and that I have an ammo fetish
>>33644753
.50 caliber already does a pretty great job and you can haul more ammo.
>>33645331
>I would use my GF's dildo
Have your GF use her dildo on you while she's giving you a blowjob. awwwww yessss
>>33645331

>>Serious question
>>33645147
Yes.
>>33644753
Because the French are the only ones who feel the need to go above .50 and they prefer 20mm autocannon.
>>33645512
UK tried it as well. The whole "Let's throw an autocannon on our battle tanks!" idea goes way back, but it wasn't until the late-war/post-war years that it was really feasible to do so in combination with any sort of worthwhile primary armament.
The issue here is that you now have a second, fairly large and complicated weapon for the crew to deal with. Your primary cannon is big enough, and especially in an age where tech was rapidly advancing, it was also complicated enough. Plus, there's really a point at which your GPMG is too small and your main gun is too big, but with modern munitions those two zones have a fair degree of overlap.
In short, why do with 25mm what can be done with 120mm?
>>33644984
No, 1 inch is close enough
>>33645315
Yeah.
Genetic engineering is pretty nuts these days, you never know when the enemy will field ultra-elephant cavalry.
>>33644753
Because you can carry a whole lot more .50 cal ammo which happens to work just fine for anti-personnel purposes
>>33647733
you're penis is close enough lole
>>33645210
Scattergories.
>>33644753
Pretty sure the French do this.

Helicopters and slow-moving aircraft, maybe UAVs.
Hey /k/ don't go on here much but I wanted to ask a dumb question and I guess this is the best thread of any.
My friend today was saying one could buy a full auto for like 2k dollars. I always thought because of the 1986 ban those arms were worth like 40k+. He was telling me that you can own one as long as you have the 200 dollar register fee or something like that, I forget what he specifically said. I was like, "are you thinking of dealer copies?"
I am just confused and would like to learn more. Sorry if this is a 10/10 retard question.
>>33644753
Because .50 cal kills them good.
There was a 25.4mm cannon if you want to know.
>>33647733
That's a pretty thicc penis.
