What does /k/ think about these goofy little giggle switches for Glocks? If it was legal, would you buy one?
>>33643063
>owning a glock
No.
No. I don't buy plastic pistols. I value my hand.
>an automatic pistol
>for 500 dollars
>would you buy it
Why do people make these threads? Of course everyone would have one, even that first poster knows damn well they'd have one just for fun.
The real question is if an automatic pistol/carbine/rifle was legal; which would you prefer.

sbr
>>33643063
>>33643096
>automatic is legal
>suddenly sbr is legal now too
No shit everyone would pick the sbr in most cases, but an automatic 9mm that fits in your pocket?
>>33643082
Beretta 93 or a MP5.
Automatic rifles and carbines seem interesting but at that point just go with something belt fed.

I gave you one chance and you fucked it up.
>>33643143
Beretta 93r for sure my fellow beretta fag!
>>33643063
Own one, hell-I'd CC it.
>>33643143
MP5 or a full-giggle retro SBR. Like pic related, but with an A2 upper.
>>33643160
>>ywn have an auto 9
>rapidly increasing the chances your glock will explode
I'd buy a giggle switch and get a roni carbine attachment (without the stock mind you) and just have a nice pistol full auto smg.
>>33643071
If it's not a glock 22 or 23 and you aren't using your homeshop dodeca plus p+ rounds I don't see the problem. 9mm exists and is cheap for a rangetoy like a full auto literal handgun.
>>33643160
>not a stetchkin
Close, though
>>33643248
I recall s video where either a G17 or 19 was magdumped as fast as possible over and over and over to see what would fail first, and the polymer actually began to warp from the heat before any cracking/breakage occurred.
If it was legal I'd just buy a glock 18 and be done with it.
>>33643160
I'd want subgats. Cheap 9mm in an automatic shoulderable capacity yes please.
>>33643966
much like the AR's gas tube, the Glock has a limiter built in which goes bust first in order to prevent major, irreparable damage to the gun. For the Glock this is the polymer recoil spring guide rod which will break first and can easily be replaced.
They usually suck, or at least the selector doesn't usually work(it's all full auto, all the time).
Glock 18 master race. There are a few companies who do a more traditional "18 Style" conversion which actually replicates the function of the 18 selector(and improves upon it IMO).
>>33643160
Even if it's "Legal" you still couldn't afford, or find, one.
>>33643973
Still a fixed supply. If they became legal the prices would shoot up from the $3-5K they run now.
how recommended would it be to CCW one?
>>33643063
Yes for a glock 19 because it fits my hand breed than a glock 18
I'd probably have one just to have it, but pretty much never use it.
>>33644126
Better*
>>33644080
Not if they started making them again on the scale they do with everything else of theirs.
>>33643082
One of each. Plus a belt fed LMG.
>>33643063
Utterly pointless, but kind of neat. I would get one and assuming I could get a tax stamp for it I would put a stock on a G40 and then slap the selector on that.
>>33644118
>totally uncontrollable due to insane rof
>limited capacity cuz nobody can CC a 33rd stick
>still doesn't have the wounding capability of a rifle caliber
Not very.
OC with a good compensator, foregrip, and 25+rd mag is a different story
>>33644197
sounds like a personal problem, you'll see me on the news some day once I ventilate some coon bank robber with a full retard G42
>>33644369
>spray your load like a threatened animal spraying piss.
This has always been why I loved the concept of machine pistols.
>>33644480
I think it makes perfect sense as well. In a military context pistols are nearly useless, only valuable in very specific circumstances. In those very specific circumstances the gun only becomes more valuable with auto fire.
>dark-skinned religious fellow bum-rushes you and is trying to take you down physically
>pull out pistol, hold down trigger, cut him in half in one second
>out of ammo with primary
>isolated from rest of squad
>pull out machine pistol, give yourself some covering fire, run to the rest of your squad and rearm
>>33643160
Hi-Power with a selector switch
>>33644070
Are you talking about that selector specifically or just in general? Is it the designs that are flawed or is it rough craftsmanship?
I sort of want one as a novelty, i dont even own a glock. Price is a bit steep for that though
>>33643082
full auto
