What is the maximum amount you're willing to spend on .22lr
7¢?
8¢?
10¢?

I'd say a dime a shot is my personal limit.
Airguns may well become the new training tool of choice for young hazfuns. They keep getting cheaper and deadlier and more accurate and more cost-effective.
>>33632635
6 or 7 cents a round is the highest I'd go
>>33632635
>6c/r
>if I'm truly out of it
>and I won't shoot it often if I'm paying that much
>>33632635
I would go 8 cents for good shit. Like fed automatch.
>>33632635
fuck off, scalper
I'd say 9¢ per is the max for real quality shit
5 cents a round on gun-deals right now, so that's what I'm willing to spend

Even here in Alaska I can still get the Federal bulk for $20 for the 550 pack. Its reliable and reasonably clean shooting. I don't really want to go higher than that and have no firearms that can make proper use of the premium match ammunition anyway.
>>33632635
5c for bulk / fed american & champion
8c for premium / cci minimag and the like
Pretty much the only way to achieve this is to get it at academy, free shipping, no tax and they are pretty much always in stock, esp lately, even in store.
>>33632686
automatch isn't good shit, its dirty but decent for plinking. minimags / sk rifle / geco /federal HV match is good shit for target shooting.
Academy has CCI for like 15c/rd
My local pawn shops sell 9c/rd but I think that's jewish as fuck
The last time I bought any it was 1-2c at Sears.

And what year was this
Didn't they used to be like $7 for a box of 500? I remember shooting my dad's buckmark when I was a kid (probably like 2001) and he used to magdump and say something like "Good thing they're less than a penny a piece"

Might as well get an air rifle and be done with it.

Judging by the packaging? 1964.
>>33635476
A long damned time ago ('92?) for a bolt action and single fire rifle, one is a Winchester 69 from '35. There are 825 left. The important part is I got a shitload of them. It's still painful to see them at 7c considering it was just demand/panic driven inflation.
>>33635575
I feel like I should buy now at 7-10c just in case we're longing for the days when they were "ONLY 7C" in the near future
>>33635902
You can get it for 5c/round if you look around a bit.
I should have, though I got this deal for 6c/round recently:

>>33635915
After shipping that's 7.2c/rd and I really don't wanna spend $235 on a bunch of rounds, I'd rather drop like $50 for now
I made a chart, dicks is running $8/100 for the same ammo as Bulkammo is runnning for $7/100
Since I'm planning on spending less than $120 I'm just gonna buy at Dicks

Oh and here's the chart
Here in Leafland I will happily pay 6.5-7 cents for bulk. If I want to treat myself I'll buy some Eley for 15 cents a pop.
Up to price of steel 9mm
