Is this the first recorded combat use of the MOAB? What do you think went through their heads when they saw the explosion from the distance?

"Hey Cap, this is legal, right? Like, we didn't just trip some satellite and trigger WW3, did we?
"Cause that would suck."
"oh no!"

>Allah Akbar!
About a million times
>a mile in every direction
Holy fug
>>33631922
>a mile in every direction
>radius
I have no words to express how stupid this guy is
>>33631945
I agree, it's pretty redundant
A bunch of towel heads just got buried. The bomb was dropped on an isis tunnel complex.
>>33631922
It really should be expressed in diameter. Good job, Amerifats.
>>33631883
>allahu akbar... ohshi~
>>33631945
It doesn't sound as cool though to just say 2 mile diameter
>>33632060
> blast diameter
> Not the patrician blast radius
One of these is just an arbitrary circle. One tells you exactly how far you need to be, no exceptions, from the impact point to survive.
>>33632258
> 1 inch outside blast radius
>hurr durr I survive
>what is convection
This isn't a videogame
>>33632312
Yes, Captain Pedant, you've made an excellent point that has absolutely nothing to do with the threat topic.
I stand corrected. We can all rest safe now, and return to your usually habit of commenting on Youtube videos when someone doesn't do a safety check before pointing a gun at the camera.

>What do you think went through their heads when they saw the explosion from the distance?
"Is it safe to touch yourself while flying? 'Cause I'm about to find out."

Would Megumin prefer nuclear or non-nuclear bombs? On one hand, nukes cause much more powerful explosions with less mass/size. On the other, I think she would just like the biggest bombs she can get her hands on, and the larger the non-nuclear bomb, the bigger the explosion. I also feel like she wouldn't like radiation, since it's killing without any explosion.
>>33631883
so is the moab thermobaric or just alot of high explosives?
>>33634505
What would she think of fuel air bombs and shaped explosives?
>>33636612
Its a fuel air explosive.
>>33634505
Only matter-antimatter annihilation is good enough.
>>33636612

pedantry is sneered at only in societies that
do not value education, like yours
>>33638526
>percentages
you mean "percents"
no, they are not the same
>>33631883
>What do you think went through their heads when they saw the explosion from the distance?
rocks the size of grapefruits
>>33631883
well i cant imagine the team that dropped it hasnt dropped one in training before so probably "huh, i hope it hit the target."
>>33638824
Tell it to Wikipedia, m8!
>>33631883
I'm pissed at all the retards saying "the blast is a mile in radius so it MUST have killed civilians!!!"
They forget that afghanistan is nothing like a Syrian or Iraqi city and that most of it is empty space. The bomb was dropped in a cave in the fucking mountains, probably the only non-ISIS people who saw it go off were goat herders.
