Infrequent lurker, and even less frequent poster of a few years here. So, somewhat of an outsider perspective coming in, and you can take my thoughts with a grain of salt.

I come here for guns first, and culture second. The vibe I get from here, and another board I visit more often, is that this is a hangout where the board topic occurs. There are a lot of threads where people are obviously just posting to post. There isn't a purpose to inform, challenge, or entertain posters. The primary focus of threads should be about the appreciation of the board topic in some manner, but seeing certain threads gives me the impression that weapons were tacked on so the OP could feel like he belonged to a community.

tl;dr
/k/ sometimes feels like it's a hangout spot first, and a weapons board second, and I think it would be better the other way around.

A couple days ago some of his videos became rent only on youtube, the worst feature ever added. The ones I can remember off the top of my head were for the Glock 19, Sig P226, at least one of his ar videos, and the SA80 video. All of them have since had the paywall removed except for the SA80 video, you can check.
