How used is your mak? Sounds like your recoil spring is too tight or the rounds you're firing are too lightly loaded to me.

Could also be a feed ramp catch, round seating issue or just poor luck.

please just be someone trolling, firing real 9x19 will potentially damage a makarov. This is why you see all 9mm boxes marked "Luger" or "Makarov" OP.

You need 9x18. You'll usually see it marked 9x18 Mak. The russians actually specifically tweaked it so it wouldn't work in 9mm Luger weapons since that what NATO used back in the cold war.

9mm luger will absolutely chamber into a 9x18. It may not fully go into battery correctly but it'll fire. Plenty of videos of guys on youtube shooting it.

What confuses me is how the hell he's getting 9x19 to fit into a 9x18 magazine. Most are pretty snug and I don't think a 9x19 would fit in them. I know my cz82 and p64 are that way.
