Never seen a cz like this here in europe. Probably some "custom" work your importer does. I know EAA doesnt import small frame tanfos, so the 9mm versions have malfunctions with certain ammo

It's a good thing EAA doesn't import CZ. Interestingly enough, it's CZ-USA. I know it's hard to grasp the concept of a multinational subsidiary as your country isn't important enough to warrant one. Is that good? I'm honestly not sure. Boys over at the CZ forums were saying its an alright deal but you can get a new one for $650. Trouble is I can't seem to find em in stock anywhere and thats $650 before a transfer, tax, and 2 extra magazines.

A new 97 at my lgs is probably like 800 I think you did pretty well. The 97s also don't have that funky slide rail protrusion like ops sp01/p01

Yea I think the high price is due to limited production. Also I somewhat dislike the forward slide serrations on the new ones so this one makes me cheeki. Also owner is a army friend and said that HP seems to feed fine through it.

I carried it for a bit but I don't own it anymore. I've never owned a full size CZ. I was kind of disappointed with it. The ergos were really nice but the trigger wasn't very good and the low slide was actually kind of annoying.

unless more CZ's dropped off the roster the last few months, pretty sure the compact line and fullsize 75's are decockers. I got my P-01 decocker last year

Yes I was reading the new models are something of a "CZ97B 2.0" because they made some changes to the reliability. He said he fired a box of HP through it and couldn't recall any issues.
