Anyone got any ballistic tests on the zsh helmet series (Altyn in particular), I heard they are resistant to pistol rounds, but found no evidence to back it.

My neighbor immigrated from Russia a number of years ago, was FSB and now a Police officer here in America.
Talked with him a few times about it, asked about those helmets once.
He says they're heavy as fuck and shooting with them takes some getting used to. Says the visor will stop most bullets, no rifle rounds bigger than the 5.45 though. Helmet itself is pistol and shrapnel protection only.
