I hope I can get my C&R by the time we receive them. I also hope CAMP doesn't charge more than $800 for em
With the Korean War 2: K-Pop boogaloo brewing up, you guys reckon we'll FINALLY get all those garands and brownings back?
Goddamn, I want my garands $600 again
>>33608749
I'm hoping they'll sell field grade models for $600-700ish. Unless we get all the ones in Korea I doubt we'll see $500 garands.
>>33608724
>Goddamn, I want my garands $600 again
or maybe less??
yes?
picked mine up for less than $200 back in the 80's.
in NY no less.
>>33608765
Probably not and if we do they will rusted to shit and need a lot of parts and love to make them shootable again.
These will all be snatched up by collectors and prices will remain the same.
>>33608724
They will all be beat to shit, rusted and bores worn out.
>>33612731
Garand hoarder pls.
Bumping for all that is /k/
Best news I've heard all week

Why is this a bad thing again? You can shoot all that corrosive surplus ammo guilt-free.
Whats a cmp aproved organization besides the nra i can join?
>>33614088
Fucking this
I quite want one
>>33614293
the military.
I'm not in the CMP, FUCK ME.
>>33608724
So this is why our ROTC armory was emptied... expect them to be beaten to shit, both externally and internally.
>>33614473
is that actually true? i didnt know that
>>33614679
It's true, that's how I got my garand. Being military gets you free notaries too
I BEEN SAVING UP THE GBP'S FOR THIS ONE, LADS! GET FUCK'D WAGESLAVES!!
im apart of a cmp affliated club but i dont meet any of the cmp's marksmanship requirement. feel free to make fun of me.
this would be a good time to get off my ass and get a ccw

The Phillipines only received around 34,000 Garands through the MAP in the 1960's. Meaning that there are an additional 50,000 rifles which somehow ended up there, likely as war material stockpiled there after the end of the war. I would expect most of them to be very well worn but likely probably still retaining a lot of WWII correct parts on them since I can't imagine the Phillipine army bothered to "update" the rifles they received from lockbar sights and uncut oprods. Will overall I think that they will be rough, there will be some gems in parts mixed in.
>>33615587
I think this would accurately reflect what to expect out of the Philippines

garand collectors association i think its called 30 bucks a year. and you get like 4 magazines with garand info. thats what im in
>>33614977
the garand collectors association doesnt need marksmanship requirements, literally just pay the 30 bux
>>33615850
CGA counts for membership in an affiliated club, but you still need to meet the marksmanship requirement.
>>33614190
Does surplus M2 Ball even still exist?
>>33616486
Yes...BUT ILL NEVER TELL WHERE, but you can literally just buy Golden Bear and its the same shit
Neat, I'd rather see cheap M1 Carbines though.
>>33615713
Looks rough, but that kind of removes the guilt of buying just a beater M1. Maybe I'll refinish the stock in the same stuff the Japanese do their drill rifles in, Uzu I think it's called.
>may
I'm not going to get my hopes up until the title says 'cmp WILL get 86000 garands.'
Still waiting on those M1911s that the CMP is supposed to get.
>>33615884
Or you spend an additional $30 and get a C&R license and save money in the future, too.
>>33609801
You're old enough to be my pop-pop. Jesus.
