Try using washes, it will make your tanks look less monochromatic and more realistic. Filters are a good way to put some variety in the color. Also, try pre- and post-shading with slightly lighter/darker colors.

That's a matter of opinion. The 5.2mm Mondragon, Gyrojets and caseless cartridges are some of my favorites.

Is that trommel magazine an original or one of the reproductions? I've seen repros that are function and some which are a standard Luger magazine with the drum attached to the base for display purposes.

Here's my pair of DWM's - both 1917 but the top one is a double date ex-artillery and served on into WWII and then with the East German police (VoPo).

I just recently came into a .32 S&W Auto which was the precursor to the .35 S&W Auto. Neither had any commercial success.

.32 Colt Automatic is very common, .32 S&W Automatic is quite rare. The primary difference is the true rimless case and metal capped, lead bearing bullet.

2 of them are marked WRA CO (Winchester I guess)

"32 S&W" rimmed
"35 S&W" rimless

and a "W&W" marked "32 colt short" rimmed.

That's Winchester's early headstamps - Winchester Repeating Arms Company. The .32 S&W Auto cartridge I'm referring to is rimless like the .35 S&W Auto you've got. Mine has a 'U.M.C. .32 A.C.P.' headstamp as the standard .32 ACP bunter was used while this cartridge was still in development.

W&W refers to 'Winchester & Western', the name of the company after it merged with Western Cartridge Company in 1935. Olin Corp owned Western and they purchased the failing Winchester company in 1931.

Here are a few bigger ones. I should have thrown in a 12.7x108mm in hindsight.

thats neat. i have my odd ball stuff, but mostly for practical purposes ( i shoot my 8mm kropatschek so i can reload the brass) but i put all my money in the guns, dont have the space or extra funds for ammo collecting, but i still come across some cool stuff in estates.

some of my favorites that I havent mentioned yet -- french marked 7.62x63 (30-06) and some steel jacket 45 acp from Remington, 1918 headstamps. they were still loaded in the ww1 mags from the aforementioned veteran's estate.

i cant find the pic right now, but i got 2 crates of british ww2 .410. i opened one to shoot/reload. but the other im leaving sealed.

i also have 4 canister cups and a training HEAT round that I fired.

A cheap gun that shoots very well. I've never had any problems with it (technically it's my wife's pistol, and she loves it).
