Syrian air force must really be in dire trouble for having slightly over a dozen aircraft destroyed consist of 20 percent overall strength.
In b4 vatniks and fatniks argue over whose government's statements are accurate and/or trustworthy

They only had around 100 planes left at the beginning of the year. Syria has been bleeding for a while now.

Most old Soviet jets are not usable.
Ready rates for US aircraft is kinda low. Imagine how bad poor 2nd world countries has it.

Syria spent most of its pre-war defense budget on armor. They built up a massive tank army for rushing the Golan Heights in case of the next Israeli-Arab war and most of the tanks were BTFO'ed in the early days of the civil war from having inadequate infantry support combined with the US and others supplying the rebels with shittons of ATGM's.

Better because their aircraft aren't temperamental, overcomplicated, electronicized monstrosities.

a dozen or so air craft represents 20% of A LOT of countries overall strength
SyAAF aren't aircraft limited, they're ordnance limited. So the ammunition destruction is of most interest but I'm not seeing much damage in the photos appearing.

russia only has like what 15 su-35's. non american aircraft numbers of decent aircraft are currently poor
