I've almost hit mod limit and it's all weapons overhauls, damage and power armor rebalances, and faction overhauls. I've spent most of my time on my last character doing kill quests for the enclave and gunners with a 91-30 and P90 while backed up by a few gunner mercs and some enclave heavy troops in X02 powerarmor.

Incidentally, OWB's huuuge power level increase for the Courier in New Vegas is repeated in Nuka Cola and Far Harbor DLCs. See this is the problem with F4, it's fucking shit in EVERY SINGLE IMAGINABLE ASPECT.

NV gunplay was shit and no one will argue that, but it was serviceable and enjoyable because of other things- really good weapon variety, lots of different ammo types etc. Good story, setting and quests also made it more enjoyable because you were actually shooting at things for a good reason.

F4 has none of that. It's a shitty RPG, it's a shitty FPS, it's a shitty sandbox, it's shit all around with no saving graces whatsoever.

Fuck this game. If I wantted to play a sandbox FPS I would play FarCry 3/4 instead, at least the gunplay is actually quite good.

I also don't think there are any mods that actually introduce playstyle-defining perks that replace the vanilla perk tree.

Dead Money was my least favorite on my first playthrough and favorite after that.

Going through it the first time with an energy weapon focused build was much of the problem. Still, it really nailed the atmosphere it was going for and had more characters that I was interested in then any of the other DLCs and the combat is fine as long as you don't have the completely wrong build.

Also I wholeheartedly recommend getting a dogmeat additional companion mod that allows a companion and dogmeat.
The vanilla game has dialog for some characters as if dogmeat was part of your part with a companion. Not to mention most characters love when you heal dogmeat, not to mention dogmeat doesn't count as a companion for the lone wanderer perk. There are unique lines for having dogmeat with you too. I think the PS3 version even has a mod to allow this.

I just want a good mod for bullet reloading, one will a lot of autism in it. The one I found for making more ammo types was just dumb, you could just make .22lr and knew how to craft all the gra ammo straight away.
I wish I could modify the game, the way I would make it is that you can break down 22lr to get the case but you can never reuse a case. You would need to get the bullet type or some sort of manual to make fancier gra rounds. If you wanted to make beanbag shells you would need to get beans and cloth and shit to make the beanbags before you could even craft the shells.
I just want full autism.

you have, at the absolute most, 2-3, and almost always 1 way to navigate any dialog situation. because your character isnt your character. you cannot ever avoid the fact that you are the dad protagonist good guy who's looking for his son. theres no way to be the bad guy who just wants control, or to see everything burn. you can sound angry while looking for your son and thats about it.

so in lieu of meaningful story, and literally zero ability to role play as the character youre playing - you mod the game so the wasteland is a brutal free for all filled with several times the normal enemy spawns with additional hand placed pods, increased aggro range, and enemies having the ability to move thru isntance walls, creating a literal nonstop 6-way multifaction hellscape of a firefight in downtown boston. will diamond city be filled with ghouls when you come back with the loot? probably.

Toss in damage fixes to remove basically all RPG elements that isnt looting ammo and medical supplies, good to go
