Found pic related at my LGS for $400 in the used rack. Tag said "Ishapore Enfield, .308" and nothing else
Pretty sure Ishapore never made a Jungle Carbine. Can't find any examples of production Enfields with stainless parts either. Is this just a bubba'd POS?
Enfield thread, I guess.

Neat as fuck. Id buy it in a hearbeat. Not too sure on what a good price would be, but id pay $400 just for how unique it is alone
>>33571138
It's not bubba'd, I remember seeing these in shotgun news years ago
>>33571138
The Indians never made a jungle carbine but a domestic US company (navy arms) fucked up a bunch of perfectly good Ishapore 2A1's for no reason and threw them on the market as "guide guns" or some stupid shit, I remember reading about it
>bubba'd POS
I think this might be one of the Gibbs Rifle Co. re-worked Ishapores. They got modified into a Jungle Carbine configuration, and that silver finish applied. I think they put a cheesy 'survival kit' in the butt instead of a cleaning kit. Plastic capsule with some matches and shit.

Am I the only one who thinks the stainless and flash hider gives it a nice blaster aesthetic?
>>33571473
Well I like the shape of it too. I just can't like the nickel finish (silver) on the rifle... would probably like a phosphated finish better or cerakote .. maybe...
Could be a neat gun but it's not worth $400

shit id buy it.
>$400 jungle gun
its cool, and its already modified so you wont feel bad shooting it and running innawoods with it.

Armslist has a couple from $5-600.
New built action they claim, for $400 it ain't bad.

They average 350ish when they come up for sale online, I'd use what they sell for instead of what they are listed for.
But 400 is a decent price, all told, I'd try to talk them down to 300ish.

Yeah, that's all I could find so instantly knocking at least $100 off armslist price puts you in an ok spot.
