Hey /k/, did I make a decent choice? I lurk here a lot and I kept seeing people praising the 1911 so I bought a 1911 from Sig Sauer yesterday. Here's the link to it.

I don't know a ton about which model or maker is best, so any information would be great.

>nickel
Eh, you could have done worse, I can't think of any examples, but I'm sure there's at least one possibility out there. Maybe.

What does it matter what we think of it now, dipshit, you already bought it.

Exactly what is was thinking. How retarded can you be?

I just wanted to know how it stacks up to other models and makers. They have a decent return policy anyways so I can always do that.
I own a Tacops. Like it. The Sig's slide design is pretty neat. I would've bought the Emperor Scorpion instead if it was being sold but in reality it's all just aesthetic differences.
Selling it to my buddy for cheap though so he can ditch his Taurus. And I bought a M45A1 to replace it lel.
Sig 1911s are fine. The magazines work fine.

Good to know. Thanks anon.

You didn't do bad. 1911s aren't exactly the best guns nowadays, but their trigger is unparalleled. Sig's a reputable manufacturer, although there's some concern their QC might slip. Haven't run into problems with my P938, P320s, or P226 yet (other than some stovepipes with steel-case Tula on the P226 when it was new).
Not the most economical, not the most tactical, not the most aesthetic, but should work just fine and be comfortable while shooting it.
Also the Sig external extractor's a great feature that fixes one flaw with standard 1911s, so that's good.

Have fun though I wosh they had a double stack 1911.
