There's an old saying: if it works once it'll work again regardless of how many times it has been messed with. In fact over shooting or cycling will wear out the springs and parts faster making it less reliable whether it be the standard milsurp parts or be it an upgraded ProMag thirty rounder. SKS even with the crap original installed parts is still more acurate and reliable than most AK or ARjam no matter how you look at it, at least ones that haven't seen specialized for competition shooting.

I still have them both. I like shooting her as she is, despite being front heavy and having a shitty trigger.
