Anything using a pulley or recoil mitigation system usually ends up with freaky mag placement.

Some czech guns from the early autoloading days had this as i recall.

Huh, that's weird. Never seen that before.

Here's another you may not have thought of: the Zfk-55 has the entire action tilted to the right, so the magazine doesn't line up vertically.
