Most people in pistol fights die from blood loss - not from being struck in the off switch known as the brain stem or hit in the shot timer know as the heart and/or major arteries.

It depends on your weapon. I went with weapons I thought would work better with ball because I think hp rounds cause more suffering than the marginal benefits they offer over other rounds.
