Then don't get a Saiga. The 90° gas block is always gonna differentiate it from an AKM.
If you don't care that's fine but it's always gonna be visually identifiable. Ain't no African militias packing AK-103s, which is what a converted Saiga looks like.

Do you have access to the s/n? There were issues with some wasr-2's. I memory serves it had to do with the internal rails, bad welding or short ejectors. If it's a friend of yours ask to take it for a test run. $600 for a combloc rifle is a good price in this market.
