SOG is good, at least from my experience. Bought a M44 from them and had no problems. I ordered it hand select and its a nice rifle except the upper handguard which looks like someone left it outside for a year.

Depends what you want it for. They are great shooters and I own a few. I own 10 firearms chambered in 9X18 and like the round. If your looking for a carry gun get something lighter. Personally I think SOG is overpriced. I bought a Bulgarian Mak for 199 and a Polish P83 for 189 from Sportsman's guide a couple months ago and both came with two magazines. SOG is deducting your extra mag to sell outright.

It's got shitty stock sights and the recoil isn't as comfortable as 99% of short-recoil operated pistols. Also 9mm Mak is cool but it's not 9mm Luger.

That said, I have one in my regular rotation and I love it a lot, it's one of my favorite pistols.

I've got 2 bulgy maks.
First for 300. Nice finish, holster, 2 mags, booklet thing, 2 grips, cleaning rod, lanyard thing
Other was 200. Worn finish but fit was great, 2 mags, only 1 grip
Also have a P64 I got for 200. 2 mags, cleaning rod. Neat lil gun but it's really snappy, DA trigger is worst trigger you will ever pull, SA is fine though. Safety broke on mine, but doesnt effect function of gun, just can't safety it.

tl;dr buy a Mak, if you don't love it then just hold onto it cause the value will rise.
