Do you have an opinion on Sig's SP2022? I'm hoping to try one out this coming weekend.

2022 a shit
>>
>>33450358
shut up you little bitch.

>>33450271
Pretty good gun especially if you can get em cheap. reliable accurate, light for a sig, etc. typical sig meme issues. only real problem is it's a little bit on the bigger side of things when compared to most other 9mm compacts with 15rnd capacity.
>>
>>33450382
My state has a 10 round limit, so that's fine.
>>
>>33450271
It's a great gun for the price, but it's single-action trigger isn't as nice as a more expensive DA/SA like the Beretta 92, Sig 229, or HK p30.

If you insist on a DA/SA below 500 bucks, it's your best bet. Personally I'd save up for a 229 or get a striker-fired pistol for the same money
>>
>>33450271
decent enough for the price no major flaws but if you have the money a real 226 is worth the price jump over the 2022

I love mine op
>>

Why would you purchase the inferior cheap sig?

Just get a 320.
>>
>>33450484
not to job your shit or anything but have you owned both? ive only held them but frankly with the weight/size difference id consider them to have different primary usages(duty for 226, ccw for 2022)
>>
Anyone who's telling you it's not a good gun is a fucking moron.

The 2022 has the same innards as a 226, except with a polymer frame. Considering it costs LESS THAN HALF than a 226, that's a great gun.

Also, it shoots very well. Probably the best "little known" first/cheaper gun there is.
>>
>>33450271
I loved mine but I swapped it for a P320, also if you have a 10 round limit why not go for a .45?

OP if you're going to try it out yourself you're going to see first hand that it's a good gun. screenshot this thread and pay attention to the troll posts. it's always clear who is a nogunz asshole and who actually is trying to give good advice.
>>
>>33450599
Because 9mm is cheap and it gets the jorb done.
>>

owned a 2022 for a while. traded it off. ive regularly shot other peoples 226s. id rate the 2022 as 90% as good as a 226 for roughly half the price. from a value standpoint the 2022 is good.
that said the 10% makes a difference and used 226s are only a few hundred more than the 2022.
as for ccw the 2022 is eh its on the rather large size you could ccw it if you wanted but you could say the same about the 226.

for a polymer pistol its not light when compared to other similarly sized polymer guns. it is lighter than a 226 though.

Get a 320. I bought a compac last December and really like it. Slapped a rubberized talon grip on and it feels awesome in the hand.
>>
>>33450556
I think the P07 just barely edges it out there, with trade in Px4s being damn close as well. Between those they cover pretty much all the bases
>>
I bought a 320c today in .40 Haven't had a chance to fire it yet, but it feels amazing in the hand. Going to the ranch tomorrow. Any ammo recommendations? Currently have 200 rounds of Winchester 165 grain fmjs. Pretty stoked for tomorrow morning.

>YOU SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN 9MM
>Ok buddy
>>
>>33450271
If I wanted a SIG, I'd get a Rex zero instead.
>>
Rented one once, nice shooting gun with a great trigger
>>
>>33450271
>Rex zero
My dad has one. He loves it. I've shot it a few times, it's a pretty decent gun, especially for the price.
>>
>>33450409
This, probably da best DA/SA under 500 you can get
>>
>>33450271
I have one and I like it. Its pretty inexpensive and isn't a bad shooter. Only problem is there are practically no aftermarket parts for it. The sandpaper grip can be really irritating sometimes.
>>
>>33450271
Depends are you looking for ccw or just a range toy?
