Would a shirt with a checkered pattern but also camo colors work? Could it break an outline up or is it too repeating?
I had the idea but I guess I'm not the only one that's ever thought of it. Would be neat to have a stealth camo pattern that you could wear in public without looking like a surplusfag.
For what purpose

Why don't you just wear normal clothes in public and camo on the woods?

Earth tones. Get dirty. Stay still. you're camouflaged.

Autism basically. Just had the thought.

Gray and/ or brown. Cannot go wrong with those two no matter what season. But it's better to go with solid or a subdued shadow plaid. If you are a richfag, Filson made a wool coat in a camouflage plaid that was fucking sexy a few years back (pic related). There's also an old school pattern you find on chamois shirts that looks like baby diarrhea up close, but is an effective camo pattern at a distance. Chamois shirts are garbage tier though, so I couldn't attest to their comfort or utility.

Thanks. Super informative. Some of the Chamois look like they would be great stealth camo if not for the fact the Dad style on most of them would probably draw more attention than anything.
Brown or green look like top choice.

This. Gray shirt and khakis is totally boring to look at in public, and disappears when you lie down in the woods and put some leaves over yourself.
