Hi /k/! I'm a longtime /pol/ user and I occasionally visit other boards like /o/ as well. I've been wanting a nice weapon for everyday concealed-carrying but I have no idea where to start. Cost is no issue as I'll save up until I can get a decent setup. Redpill me on the advantages and disadvantages between revolvers/automatics and different kinds of ammo. Resources for research and specific recs are welcome as well. I want something that would be good at short to medium range, and I want it to be reliable as well. CC holster recs are also welcome.

I should add that I have experience shooting various rifles and shotguns but I've never shot a handgun.
Hipoint in .40 Smith and Wesson cheap and it's a meme so you get some keks.

He means 40 9mm hipoints to do pirate reloads as you pull more and more pistols from your bag/car/house/waistband.
9mm probably best for ammo capacity, recoil and price. .45 or 10mm if you want to meme/little more power.
Glock would work but it's a Glock. people seem to like Ruger LCP, HK VP9, and maybe Beretta 92fs compact depending on size you can conceal.

I'm not joking nor am I from reddit. I literally am just redpilled and I want to buy a gun for self-defense/nigger killing.
>>33441321
I never said you were from reddit. Why would you bring it up if you weren't from there?

Fuck off reddit.

Get a Canik tp9sf
They're ~300 dollars with 18 round magazines and great reliability, they're pretty much the best guns you can get for the price.
There's a lot of reviews about it on the internet, here's on

>socialists will try and use memes
Well, that will be interesting.
Kinda shows how shitty their organization is, instead of bringing up what kind of memes (with examples) to make and resources on how to make them they simply go "make memes XD, that's how we'll win!".
I see there's a $75 rebate on shields coming up, and with sales the 9mm should be about $250. Is this a good time to buy, or are prices expected to drop more soon? Would this be a good choice as a first handgun/CCW?
>>33440839
Not everyone here is a NEET poorfag.
>>33440769
I'm a revolver guy, so my recommendation is for the Ruger LCR. They come in all sorts of calibers, but either the .38 or the 9mm would be a fine choice.
oh your from /pol? then you would love this Walther P38
>>33440769
Get a 9mm semi-automatic and Shadilay, brother. .45 ACP is better for penetrating landwhale blubber, but is harder to conceal. The Smith and Wesson M&P Shield is popular for a reason, but ultimately, go to a gun store, tell them (without mentioning shooting antifa) what you want, and hold every gun they present you that matches. Pick the one that feels best in your hand, that matters more than anything. Praise Kek and happy hunting!
Sorry for the cool reception, we're under a shill assault here too.

I'd second this, particularly if OP is new to handguns. No mag release, no mag, no safety, no possibility of limp wristing. Point and click.
>>33442097
if you like how the grip feels, yes.
>>33442106
>>33442207
not a bad suggestion.
>>33442195
I would've said it like this, but this anon beat me to it.
