Oh fuck
don't worry OP
I've got a bunch of guns I've never shot or at most shot once.
I have problems.
>>33440603

big problems.

>>33440634
Whats yer excuse for not shooting them? or only once.
>>33440664
Not the other anon, but I several rifles I havent shot. Reason being I refuse to shoot a long range round that's $1.50 a pop at less than 100 yards. I am slowly collecting the tools to reload though, so I imagine I'll care a lot less when I'm shooting gallery loads.
>>33443230
>1.50 a round is expensive
>better go spend 1k+ on reloading equipment to save 5 cpr
I will literally NEVER understand poorfag mentality
>>33440664
not them but i don't go shooting that often because every range is an hour drive from me, and they're all 'pay 5 bucks a day no rapid fire' state ranges that are constantly full of fuds so you have to wait another half hour for black-powder jones to finish up his five hour long shooting session where hes fired maybe 6 times.

Its an investment to save money in the long term. Also 1k is an expensive reloading setup and you can get some reloading kits for as cheap as $100 if you go for a really simple hammer kit. A decent 3 stage is like $400. After a few years the shit will pay for itself.
Its also pretty relaxing to do.

Supplies so far..
Lee Hand press: $30 in a private sale
6.5x55 die set: $30 from Amazon
Alliant Unique powder: $25 for 1lb @ gander mtn
Basically exactly what this anon said

I'm looking for sales and shit, I'm not in a hurry. Certainly not going to spend thousands of dollars. It's also a question of wear and tear on the guns, the closest outdoor range available to me is almost 2 hours drive, and is only 100 yards. I don't need full power loads that are going to burn the barrel out, I need to practice fundamentals and get a good feel for the rifle.
And yeah, I'm a poorfag. not everyone has a good start in life. I work bluecollar and I'm putting myself through school, guns are my destress/relaxation past time. I bought the milsurps I haven't fired yet because I could tell they'd be priced beyond what I could afford in the near future so getting them at a good price came first.
And yes, $1.50 a round is expensive when you're making less than 22k a year. I'd rather spend $200-$300 or so dollars over a few months and be able to shoot more on my budget than blast away much less often with factory ammo.

$5? lol my local one charges $15, the rest are $17-20. I paid $100 for a yearly membership and i go 2-3 times a week.
