I want to design a modern pistol with a shoulder stock that doesn't increase the bulk/weight of the pistol when folded or collapsed in. What kind of stock would work best for this /k/?
Cant haff becaus ATF kill doggo
A top or bottom folder could be fast to deploy and sturdier than collapsing stocks, but then you'd have to put the butt pad in the front when it's folded in, adding bulk.

Seems like the perfect carry gun for innawoods desu senpai. Able to defend against 2 legged predators or 4 legged all the way up to 100 meters.
>>33415862
here you go
>>33415958
this is uncomfortable though
You could also theoretically fit the stock, or most of it, into the pistols backstrap, and then pull it down and out when it's needed. This could look something like the OP pic, but with less bulk of course.
>pistol
>stock
Why? Just fucking why?
>>33416025
45AARP and larger cartridges are more practical because of greater controlability.
Also it's cool
A non permanent, non mounted one would be best.
Your hand holds it to the grip and if you let go it falls away.
>not SBR
>adds no weight to gun
I am working on one for my Glock.

you mean like this thing?

Pistols are notoriously hard to use compared to stocked long guns. Having an integral stock that's fast to deploy would vastly improved the accuracy of shooters, especially if they're inexperienced. Think of all the lives that could be saved.

I want one of thee so much

>>33415958
Absolutely hideous
>>33416230
I'm pretty sure they put it on there because it looked good, yeah.......
The Spectre M4 has an interesting style of top folding stock which could be adapted to a pistol quite well, I imagine.
>>33416394
The SITES Spectre M4 is interesting for more than just its top folding stock, did you know that it is the only SMG to have a DA trigger on the first round fired?
>>33415862
Do it like the Chinks did and make a knife-stock.
>>33416621
What in the shit?
>>33416621
Boom, fold and connects to the sheath to make a stock.
>Prease ignore fact that gun is piece of shit that cooks off all the time, white devil
>>33415890
Wouldn't it just be an SBR so you'd just need a stamp to do it?
>>33416634
Chink pseudo-Broomhandle in 7.62x25, the Type 80 Machine Pistol.
>>33415862
>Makes a thread about pistols
>Posts a picture of what is obviously a rifle
>>33416640
I think so. Most stocked pistols are designed to be full auto tho.
>>33416155
>>33416169
What's the legality of devices like these?
At what point do you cross from just a pistol to a rifle with an easily detachable barrel?
>>33416719
watch the video pause it read what pops up
>>33416741
So if you duct tape it on you're a felon but if you just hold it on you're in the clear?
>>33416787
Correct
On the subject of title ii, if you solder something between two triggers on a double barrel shotgun such that they operate in unison, have you created a machine gun?
>>33416892
If it's attached it is now one trigger, so machine gun. If not attached plastic trigger pulling thingy is now machine gun.
>>33415940
>take 10mmM brass
>trim it to 27 mm
>neck it down to .308 with an OAL of 35 mm
"This caliber is not a necked-down version of any other caliber."
>>33416155
like a hotdog in a hallway . . .
Bump for interest
>>33416981
It's actually a volley gun since they shoot at the same time. Not a machine gun, and not at all restricted afaik.
>>33415862
>I want to design a modern pistol with a shoulder stock
That is called an SBR
>>33415862
there is a design that lowers the weight of pistol when not in use
>>33418169
Fucking mauserfags get away with everything
>legal stock on pistol
>legal foregrip on pistol
Just because it was made ~100 years ago.
>I want to design a modern pistol with a shoulder stock that doesn't increase the bulk/weight of the pistol
Hi there, I'm with the Laws of Physics. My name is Mass, Conservation of Mass. Pleased to meet you. You have a nice idea there but I basically need you to go fuck yourself with a burning cactus. Sorry about that. Have a nice day.
>>33418169
It also does nothing a modern pistol stock needs to do.
>massive
>very slow to attach
>>33418372
This AR15 apparently weighs less than a normal AR15, while doing the same thing. I may not be very intelligent but I'm pretty sure that breaks the laws of physics. Therefore I must call out this fakery online, making sure I act self assured so that everybody will believe me.

>>33416230
Actually looks kinda cool desu. Has a sort of art-nouveau-to-art-deco transitional vibe.

Looks like the handguard is carbon fiber. Id imagine alot of the other furniture and what not is too.

but 10mm auto is 10x25 so how can you trim it to 27mm

Design your holster attached to your pistol, to flip and telescope as a shoulder stock when you draw the gun.
No weight added to a normal carry. A slight flimsiness wouldn't matter, it will still provide added stability.
Buy a 3D printer like everyone else for trial desig*h*ns.
>>33421892
There are too many types of holster for that to be viable.
>>33422019
Exclusive holster of course, moron.
The kind of that comes with a SBR tax stamp.
>>33422237
No I know, but if you didn't make every type of popular holster style nobody would buy it.
>>33423775
Again, no.
Only people who would want the holster also be an instantly deployed telescopic buttstock would want to buy it.
It is a tax stamp item, automatically. Well at least in USA.
>>33424110
Hypothetically, with NFA repeal.
