Hey /k/, very long time, no post.
I'm currently modeling one of the old variants of the XM-29 OICW (Not for a game, so I'm planning on cramming it with detail, although I'd thought of printing a 1/2 scale desk model with sliding parts and painting it).
Sadly, since most public photos of this were taken and uploaded in the early 2000s, the quality on them all is really crap (320x240-ish in size etc).
I was wondering if anyone here might have any better quality photos from H&Ks showroom or even an airsoft one that they would be willing to photograph?
Here's how the model looks so far, but I keep running into issues with the depth; how far in/out various areas on the side protrude.
>better quality photos from H&Ks showroom
HKPro.com had a walkthrough of one of H&Ks grey rooms, that had some decent res pics
>even an airsoft one
No such thing

I saw those showroom ones of the modern variant, pretty nice.
Is this one pictured airsoft? I've never owned one (Australia) but I assumed so from the wiring etc.

looks like airshit based on the mag, but its hard to know because the real xm29 would have had wiring connecting the controls in the trigger group to the chamber(for programming grenades) and scope.
Hm, anyone able to provide the external dimensions of the magazine, specifically width and/or depth? I'm trying mostly to get the width correct since this helps me get the overall width of the OICW correct.
I could be wrong but I assume it's one of these?

Yes, the HK OICW used standard M16 magazines.

You could probably just go to your local gun store and buy or ask someone if you could take dimensions for one.

This might help I guess.

I'm in Australia so gunshop may not have much to show, I don't know if there'd be any magazines that match the dimensions. The closest I could get is probably ducking up to Lithgow Arms Factory since it's about an hour away, and seeing if they'd let me examine the magazines for some of their M16s.
