The most powerful military in the world can't fight without complete control of the skies

Thus we see the difference between "power" and "precision"

Ever notice how American vehicles all are huge, got huge horsepower, and have the precision of a Romanian Kalashnikov?

Rommies are precise enough but it's not like you've ever fired a gun before.
>vehicles and precision
Couldn't find a better choice of words for your shit tier trolling?

name a time that they've lost control in a war since ww2.

Korea, vietnam (militarily), iraq, the war on terror (multiple times), and currently winning the war on drugs.
>>
>>33410940
I mean, when an analogy is truly that shit, there's really no need to offer a counter argument.
>>
>>33410801
Your analogy is poor and doesn't reflect reality.

Here is your (You)

Useful when I'm trying to put my car through a paper target, or center mass perhaps. Cars are very difficult to aim, anyways.

>>
>>33410616
Why the fuck would you not want air superiority? Makes things a hell of a lot easier. Doesn't matter how leet the enemy ground forces are if they are hunted by multiple steel birds in the sky.
>>
>>33411515

We're winning the "war on terror"?

We are? When did that happen?

"Currently winning war on drugs"

You mean the one started by Nixon?
>>
>>33410616

Whoever has complete control of the skies IS the most powerful military in the world
>>
>>33411886
- Does not guarantee a win.
- Without boots on the ground under those skies, you own nothing.
- US Army and Marine Corps still fight 2G style.
- Marines at least formally adopted 3G/Maneuver warfare, but still fight 2G style.
- 4G warfare pretty much negates air power.

Don't get me wrong - the US Army and Marines are really really good at fighting other conventional forces.
But when our enemies go off menu, we have a problem...
Power doesn't mean a whole lot if you can't use it...
>>
>>33411917
Well fine. Time to give up on physical arms and go full into cyber warfare. That's the future after all- no need for boots or air sup.

We started winning the day we put our chips on the table.

But we knew it wasn't gonna be done over night.

Sorry you hippy libtard pussies believe everything that your middleschool geography teacher told you kiddos.

That analogy is accurate. American cars are great at going fast. But only in a straight line.
Corvette, mustangs, Challenger, viper, etc. Fast cars. Not so good at changing direction.
It can be said this is due to the differences in the world. America being large, and open, has more use of these straight line, and larger vehicles. Europe had to deal with small roads, and trying to get as much out of a tiny package, and not being able to go as fast (yes there are freeway, and things like the Autobahn. But look at the traffic. People/square kilometer).

So if that guys opinion is wrong, whatever. But the analogy is sound, and attacking it looks immature.

Lost korea
Lost Vietnam (home support)
Won vs a third world nation
Won terror so hard it moved to Europe and spread throughout the middle East
Won the war on drugs so hard Mexico is losing control of their country to filthy rich cartels and USA is the #1 consumer od opiods
>>
>>33410801
What's better? A weapon with super low power but precision the likes of which has never been seen before, or a weapon with unstoppable power, but horrendous precision?
>>
>can't
No it's just that it won't; i think air superiority is part of American military doctrine as it almost eliminates an aspect of ground war, simplifying operations dramatically
>>
>>33410801
Most US cities were designed with vehicles in mind. We have a car culture, cars are Americana and we don't have to have peugeots that can squeeze into bullshit cobblestone mazes that euros call streets.

But let's keep acting like most vehicles on the planet aren't designed by a company under the umbrella of 1 out of what, 10 ,maybe 15 larger companies for their respective markets?
>>
>>33410616
That's part of what makes them the most powerful military ya walnut
