There's a reason the G19 is so ubiquitous and why it's been chosen before as side arms for various military units.

It's just so damn light. Handguns are the backup, the way you fight to your rifle. They're an after thought. A "just in case" weapon.

And as such they should be kept as small and light as possible while still remaining effective for the role of a "just in case" gun.

If you can't beat the G19's weight in a design that only holds 15 rounds for me personally I'm relegating it to range toy/game gun status.

I like the design other than the steel frame. The fact that their design is lighter than a sig p229 that has an aluminum frame gives me a lot of hope if they ever release something with a polymer frame.

As someone who owns a Glock 19 and a Browning Hi Power and can shoot better with the HP but likes the striker fire design, I like this gun a lot. It's a bit out of my price range but as a fan of 1911 ergos and striker 9mm function I would definitely consider getting one mostly as a night-table gun but also a nice precision handgun for the range.

Dude just try one out for yourself. It's bad at everything a trigger should do well (squish and no stage and non-tactile reset) and good at things that don't matter as much (light weight). Shoot a nice 1911 to find out what a good trigger SHOULD feel like, and compare it to the ppq. Glocks aren't much better, but they at least have a decent break, clear and definable stage, and an awesome reset (by far the best feature of a glock trigger). If the pull weight is a serious issue for you, they make lightweight connectors too.
