Hey /k/ I bought this knife for 50 cents at a thrift store I thought it was an old hickory but the blade says something like "fargecrail" I was going to cut it down but figured I'd check just in case I was about to commit knife attrocities

Good knives made from worn out lumber mill saw blades (most likely 1095 plain carbon steel). I restored and currently use one of their chef knives that I got for 50 cents at a garage sale.
