if you fire 22lr out of a 22mag the cases split or crack making it a royal pain in the ass to extract.

I bought one new just for shits and giggles for $250. be aware that accuracy is complete shit, as can be expected with an inch long barrel. I'm talking keyholing at 10 feet shit. also there is no rear sight so it's going to take trial and error for the bullet to actually hit within the same 6" area of where you think you're aiming. all in all it's something fun and different to dick around with, but I'd never use it as a carry piece other than a deep backup to my normal CC
