Does anybody on /k/ have experience with Kahrs? I'm thinking of buying a CW9 since I live in a cucked state and don't want a gimped double stack.
I just want to know if it's
>fun
>reliable
>easy to shoot
Thanks in advance /k/

I have a car anon, but you might want to take this thread to >>>/o/
My father has cw45. Thing shoots like shit and has a terrible trigger. Sorry about the shit state my dude.
>fun
Reasonably fun, but the magazines are really tight and painful to reload and the long trigger pull + long reset gets in the way of some fun. The fun comes more from the fact that you will eventually master a type of trigger pull that previously might have given you trouble on other guns.
>reliable
They tend to have a break in period, but the one I owned never got to be 100% reliable. It would always have failures to return to battery, so I sold it.
>easy to shoot
Again, reasonably easy. As long as you are doing your job, the trigger doesn't get in your way, but many beginners will appreciate a single action trigger much more. That said, for a DAO trigger, it's really smooth and light.
They aren't good to go, in my book, but they aren't terrible either. If you find one on sale for under $300, that would be a good deal for one.

>failures to return to battery
Were you power stroking or slingshotting the slide by any chance?
>>33384812
RETURN to battery, not go into battery. I'm talking randomly on any given round in the magazine.

Ah, well that's a little disconcerting. Did you try to contact Kahr about the issues?
>>33384849
No, I just sold the gun at a loss to some other rube.

Kahr has one unique quality that is important to some people -- they are the only ones to offer American-made all-steel striker-fired pistols.

This was my experience with a Kahr.
Get something else, anon.

Did you contact Kahr about this? This seems awfully uncharacteristic of Kahrs from what I've heard from gun reviewers I normally trust.
