I really want to get a shotgun for my next piece but i'm having a hard time picking. Maybe some of yall can help me.
It has to have wood on it, I just like wooden guns. I'm fine with either over/under or semi-automatic. I want it from a reputable name, high quality like browning or remington. I also want it to be good for a range of things, maybe if I want to go skeet shooting one day or hunt with it, no tactical home defense bullshit.
I've looked at a couple and i've liked so far a used Citori or Remington 1100. Anyone else have any shotguns or opinions on both of those two?
If you want to spend just a little more money, Beretta silver pigeons are a little nicer than citori and hold value better.

Can"t go wrong with a Citori.

thats my first choice right now

Also if, like me, you don't like all the scroll work you can usually find older onyx and E models of the silver pigeon for around 1,000. Nothing more beautiful than clean metal, clean lines, and clean wood.
beretta 687 or 697EELL if you have more money to burn, i have one with a full tube set and it is one of my favorite firearms.

oops 687 EELL

Citori good price but fixed choke.

A cherry 1984 Citori under $900 with 4 hours to go and reserve not met.
I am partial to berretta but Citori's are fine guns, and that last one is tempting to me. Stay away from remshit and Turkish guns and you should be good.

fuck me, that e model is gorgeous. If only I had the money right now, hopefully still some good deals will be around in a while
Yildiz is a turkroach brand shotgun, but they manufacture the lowest cost over-under by a few hundred dollars. Good quality too, just not as fancy as a berretta.

Around 500-550 burger bux for a 12 or 20. Expect to pay more for a 16, but all in all they are very reasonably priced for such an amazing shotgun.
