Is the Sig Sauer P320 the handgun America deserves?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZTRjXD7AVU
Did Dugan foresee this over three years in advance?
Will it come in black?

But not the one it needs right now

Proprietary rear side plate means no non-SIG aftermarket sights and disassembling the striker mechanism in the slide requires special tools so grunts don't fuck with it. Get a regular P320

>rear sight dove tailed (?) in longitudinally to the bore
I knew sig was trash but I didn't expect it to be this bad.
The trials in a nutshell:
Glock:
>"Everyone uses us anyways, the fuck does it matter. Have a Glock off the shelf."
Beretta:
>"We heard you complain about our pistol being too big and not modular enough. So we put a rail on the bottom and gave it a threaded barrel. Did nothing for the size because this is how we did the last one."
Sig:
>"Whuh? Oh... we made this a couple years ago... here, take it."
Colt:
>Autistic Screeching.

Protip the Glock submission was not an "off the shelf" model
Protip 2 M9A3 grip dimensions are not the same as M9A1
I really dislike how excessively plastic looking the frame is.
It's far too smooth.

Colt is like a 20-year-old dog that's become an invalid and shits on itself because it's too old to stand up to go to the bathroom and had to have constant 24/7 care. They just need to be taken out back and shot to be out of its misery.

It looks like that in that picture but it feels good in the hand.
>>33366515
I like it

>>33368056
What's the difference? Didn't even know there was a "regular" p320 vs. the one the army chose
>>33369463
What was the Glock model like?
>>33368077
it's a removable plate so you can fit a MRDS eventually.
>>33373000
one of those responses literally said all the differences
>>33373035
a glock 19 with an external safety
>>33366515
>Carry slide
>Subcompact frame
>Threaded barrel with brake
Welcome to the suck muhreen.
>>33366515
G19 with fuckhuge topheaviness and akward as fuck grip.
Pass. I'd rather take the M9A1 thanks.
>>33366515
>>33372473
The grip texture is actually well done.
>>33374956
No. They sent a g17 and a g20, and no compact model.their first submission had no external safety.
>>33368704
>"We heard you complain about our pistol being too big and not modular enough. So we put a rail on the bottom and gave it a threaded barrel. Did nothing for the size because this is how we did the last one."
M9A3 has several improvements, including a thinner grip.
Also Beretta submitted the APX for the trials, not the M9A3. The A3 was offered instead of the MHS.

I bet you are really old. Plastic is the material of the future. It's lighter and just as strong. Since a service pistol spends 99.9% of its time riding your leg, lighter is better.
>>33368056
Are you telling me that grunts won't be able to field strip their fucking pistols?
Will M9s/92s become cheaper once the military switches?
>>33377429
Assuming the old guns get sold to civies, of course that would happen. An excess supply would drive prices down.

Yes it is, because you can make your own registered part with holes drilled in some good sheet metal, bent and welded a little bit.
It's the perfect handgun for America.
