FOr long gun, this CSA Vz.58 - with all the mods and piles of magazines it's north of $2,000 easily.

For handgats that would be my EDC, including gear and mags it's around $1,500

>What's the most you could ever see yourself spending?

No plans to buy any additional gats, just piles and piles of ammo and I will go broke doing so with a shit eating grin on my face.

I spent about 2.3k total on this whole setup for my PS90, the Illuminated factory black ring sight by itself was about $600. If we weren't counting accessories and stuff like that, the gun I've spent the most on would probably be my SPAS-12. The most I'd probably ever see myself spending on one firearm would be probably 2.5k.

Did you buy one with the built-in illumination or the standard ones that just have the old tritium in them?
The old factory USSG sights that just have the tritium in them seem to wear out with time.
The one I bought was from eliteammunition and is modified to take a battery and has adjustable brightness,
it's honestly a major improvement over the standard ring sights.

This is where I got mine from: http://www.eliteammunition.com/aluminum-housing-625947.html

About 4500 euros on a british precision rifle (excluding accessories & optics).

The question is: what about the UMP makes you think it's worth spending that kind of money on compared to the competition.

It's an SMG designed for the express purpose of being cheaper to manufacture than an MP5 and that's it. From the mag I'd guess it didn't even have a dual stack upgrade when going from USC to UMP style looks?

about 2200. but that includes an optic and can and stamps so not sure if that counts but it all kinda lives with that gun. 1200 if we're talking just a straight gun.

My buddy has one. It's a fantastic shooter, you wont be disappointed.
>>
Poorfag here. I think 500 something for my AR, my Glock was about the same as was my Hi Power after transfer fees. Then I have a cheaper .22 so that's it.

As for what I'd be willing to spend, probably 1500-2000. I want a battle rifle a lot. I really dug the PTR91 I shot, so that's about 1000. Then a bolt gun with a nice wood stock for fudd activities, which will probably run me around 800-1200 depending on what I get.

The main reason I don't have these two things is that I don't really have a place to shoot them right now, since all the ranges in my area are short range, so it would be pointless.

Honestly though I'd much prefer to have a lot of mid priced guns that fill different roles and work well enough than a couple of fuckexpensive snowflake guns

>>33366544

Aren't SPAS shotguns kinda pieces of shit? I heard that they were heavy and unreliable though it may be fuddlore. Sexy though, nonetheless.
>>
>>33357877

Right now my Gucci AR is close to $3,000, but that wasn't all at once, I was acquiring parts here and there, swapping cheaper shit out before getting to this price tag. The most I dropped all at once was $900 for my Benelli M2, or $900 for my ACOG.
>>
>>33366593

Are ACOG's worth the price or are you paying for some CoD brand recognition?
>>
>>33366579
Heavy? Yes. Unreliable? I wouldn't say so. 99% of the problems that people have with the cycling of these things on semi-auto is attributed to the fact that they were using the wrong ammo. You need to use heavy loads like buckshot or slugs in order for it to cycle reliably. For what it is, it is fairly heavy and there are way better options in terms of combat shotguns, but to me it's not completely unbearable. The thing is, if you want to buy one of these with the intention of using it as a practical home defense shotgun, you're a fucking idiot. It's a collector's item, a relic of the 80's, and a piece of movie memorabilia, if you want a top of the line practical semi-auto shotgun, get a Benelli M4. Using light target loads with the pump-action on this thing is quite nice actually, but when shooting buckshot out of one of these, it does tend to beat up your shoulder a bit.
>>
>>33366599

It's a really nice optic, very durable. You can get the same accuracy out of a Nikon. I'm just not sure how well a Nikon would hold up to being dropped all the time, though. I know the ACOGs we had in the military were beat to shit but still held a zero and didn't fall apart.

I would say it's worth it. I got the larger TA11 one, which has better eye relief than the more compact ACOG models. If I had to be a little more frugal I would stick with a cheaper Nikon and spend my money on other things.

I have an M24 rebuild I paid 3k for (has the correct M3A Ultra scope). Also have a MK12 that's roughly 4-5k (All PRI, Colt, Bartlein barrel, NF x24, AEM5, etc...)

It gets really expensive when you get into clone guns. I have a friend with a Mk13 mod 5 that's around 10k. It really starts adding up when the clone rifle has expensive optics (like S&B) and can made by KAC. Another friend has a perfect M40A1 replica and the Unertl 10x cost 5-6k by itself.

Most I've ever spent on a single firearms is $1000 on my Remington Model 30 Express rifle in .30-06, it was built the last week of production and has a Weaver 330 M.8 scope in a Weaver factory installed mount. As far as most I'd ever spend that will be tested soon, me and a friend of mine are going to have a little importing adventure with Meatballs.

That's how much I'll spend.

It's from NEA (North Eastern Arms)

I don't think they make them anymore, years ago when I was searching for a set they were done with it - maybe they did another run.

Owner here. You won't be disappointed. But ditch the rubber grips and get some Nills.

I start getting disinterested at about $1500, $2000 top end

I bought a Mosin Nagent for $2250.99.

Before you laugh though, it is an actual war relic, and was once the rifle of Vasily Zaitzev in the battle of Stalingrad.

$900

Probably $1500

I think my reasonable limit for a user handgun would be $800, $1500 for a user rifle.

More expensive firearms are kinda different, because if taken care of and the proper model, stand a chance at appreciating in value over time. It really depends with how much depreciation you're comfortable with, because firearms are physical equity that is easy to liquidate. That money is never really gone.

390$
Tisas zig m1911
before that i had only bought a 125$ mosin.

all my other guns were traded for or were family heirlooms.(i dont trade heirlooms but i wheeled and deal with two guns i was given because they were broken and i could fixem.)

I spent about a week working on a Walther TPH for a few hours every night. The gun was assembled all wrong and i only had diagrams from side angles with the grips off. At one point i lost a pin and scoured my entire living room looking for it. Then i woke up one day, rolled over and noticed it was sitting in the plastic bin with the gun.

A bit over $3500.00 on a low SN Costa Mesa AR-18 (back in the 1990's)

It was fun, but I sold it because I knew I was going to destroy it. And I liked it too much to murder it.

Most expensive so far has been my Saiga x39... Probably spent about $650 or so after the conversion in 2012.

One day I hope to drop 2 or 3k on a Mateba... It's the unnecessary gun of my dreams.
