What's the longest rifle ever actually used by a military?

Like 30% of them were unarmed and would pick up weapons and ammo from dead enemies

Lebel Mle.1886 M93 with the epee bayonet is the longest smokeless-powder infantry rifle IIRC. Pretty sure older muzzle-loading rifles are a few inches longer still.

I would say the American long rifle, but there wasn't really a standard, mass produced version of them and they weren't used by the uniform infantry.

Nope. Muskets are longer than Arquebuses. And OP asked for rifles.

I assume either a mosin or the sten(still used in africa alot)

The mousqueton Treille de Beaulieu, aka rifle of the hundred guards, is over 2,10m long with the saber-spear bayonet.
Otherwise most french rifles until the MAS 36 were roughtly 1,30m long and 1,80m long with the bayonet.
